Is that Never Ending Road story correct? I couldn't find anything substantial on it when I Google'd it. No Wiki article. Sounds more like an urban myth. There doesn't seem much chance that many deaths wouldn't have been properly investigated imo, especially if they were locals.
The Cookie Monster/Elmo mass nightmare is just plain weird.
Elmo just wants to be tickled.
You need to get laid.
I wonder how many are true and not made up.
I do believe in such things but most are just people messing with you.
Most aren't true AC.
The babysitter story is an old play from the 40s that has been redone by theatre/TV/movies in a thousand iterations "Sorry, Wrong Number." It's become an urban myth now. The road is an old campfire story, but I don't think has ever been true. The redbox image is just a girl doing the hairflip thing, and the photo snapped at just the right moment to look like that.
Creepy photos aren't usually creepy until someone makes up a story to go along with them. The friends, the kid, the window all look like innocuous with clever tales woven to make them appear creepy. The friends are probably 4 friends and the girl on the right just leaned in too far and blocked the fourth girl. The kid photo is probably a grandmother trying to use a phone and snapped a photo by mistake. The window is probably just a pic of a person looking out a window, but the moonlight caught their eyes just right.
Pics are too easy to fake with digital photos, anyway. Old film photos had ghost images all the time. usually from double exposures (2 pics taken on the same frame of film). I worked in a photo lab and saw double exposures on a daily basis. People would not advance the film, or take the whole roll and not rewind it completely into the canister. So, a few weeks later they load it again and take another set of images on the same roll.
Oh I figured. With any phenomena such as hauntings, UFOs, cryptids and such 99% are misidentified or hoaxes. But with the huge numbers of encounters that 1% still leaves a large number of unexplained happenings. I have had plenty myself so I do believe.
You also could do with getting some of the gash.
Awesome article!
v hard
the previous owners of the house where i live in son caught fire his charcoaled outline can still be seen in the garage. ( 😉 didnt die though)
there is also an urban myth here about an unreachable light it is said no matter how you follow it you cant reach it.
a well known myth details you picking up a beautiful girl alongside the road as she is hitchhiking. during the trip she disappears.
but the RL stuff people can do is more scary than any ghost story. but i will add 2 others
a field guide told about a traumatic experience they were sleeping in a tent and he told his us guess with her son to close their tent. they didnt listen. during the night he heard a scream and immediately went to investigate a hyena had jumped in her tent and ripped her sons head right of his shoulders.
similarly a field guide was driving during the night and he was asked to stop so that his guess could have a smoke break he stopped on a bridge and went to stand guard about 10 meters behind the vehicle with his gun. later as the guest wanted to leave they didnt see him upon investigation he had dissapeared. a lone male leopard had grabbed him and pulled him to the rocks below to feed on him.
Africa always more scary than any ghost story!
also RTK is scarier than Africa! but yeah the media module is a bit death.
ok to finish off forgot this one earlier:
one night at about 10 or 11 cant remember exactly me and my father heard a strange scream or a cackle(also cant remember think scream though). we went to the front of our yard and could see a elderly looking female looking person with a black hood and totally black clothing with a child on her back carrying him to a side street that eventually leads to a small hill hereabouts.
I have had several experiences with moving objects and sightings in multiple houses and at college. The voices are probably the scariest though.
I definitely won't sleep tonight!
