Relations between Sweden and Finland

Hello my dear friends this article intends to show my opinion and my view of the recent problems that has been between Sweden and Finland. I hope both Finnish and Swedish will take time to read this article. I want to clarify that this is not necessarily my party's view.
Sweden gets wiped
This is something that has damaged the Swedish pride and honor who is something we hold very dear. This has resulted in outbursts of anger towards the Finnish people, or atleast from some of the Swedish people. I dont say thats right or wrong but i do say its illogical. I am in every aspect a faithfull soldier in the Swedish arme but lets face the truth, Sweden those not have the strength to take revenge.
We can not be blinded with rage, we must be unemotional and not let are fellings take control. But most of all we must understand that we, the Swedish people no longer can afford to have a destructive foraign politics. It was the mentality of superiority that got us in this position, we have treated our fellow nordic brothers and sisters poorly. I do not defend the Finnish people wiping Sweden of the map with Russia.
I am willing to forgive and forget, we need to restore Sweden to its former glory and to do so we need to take the peaceful way and use diplomacy and not military force. I am pro a sort of union with the nordic nations but to do so we will first need to bury the hatchet. Lets gather our strenght to fight the true enemy, the evil Russians!
This is my opinion and i know that alot of you dont agree and probably want to fight Finland but then u urge you to look at the numbers, In Sweden we are 1782 persons while there is 3235 persons in Finland.

Jag är nog en av dom som anser vi inte ska glömma utan istället ge igen.
Inte för att jag har något emot finnar, personligen skulle jag gärna sett dom som våra allierade.
Men dom hade chansen. Dom hade en möjlighet att skapa fred. Visst spelet tillät inte att gå ur NE vid det tillfället, men dom kunde låtit oss vinna RW. Men nej! Istället attackerade dom på nytt och wipeade oss!
Relationen kan inte återställas bara sådär efter en sånt förräderi.

Visst dom är fler än oss, låt det bli en kamp då. Sätt våra styrkor mot varandra.
Vi har redan förlorat allt, vi kan bara vinna.
Får vi till någon ev. fred framöver så kommer det alltid vara på finnarnas vilkor, är det något att bygga på? att vi är deras knähundar och lyder minsta vink annars blir vi wipeade igen?
Nä, vi måste stå på oss och göra motstånd.
Har inget med högmod, stolthet eller patriotism att göra utan om en framtida och långvarig relation mellan våra länder som bygger på lika vilkor.
Men visst om finnarna låter oss ta tillbaka våra regioner från och med nu utan något större motstånd så kanske vi slipper ett långvarit krig.
Men saken är väl den att finnarna inte har några planer på att släppa oss i första taget.
Hur tänker ni bygga en relation på sådana grunder?
Det finns andra länder som vi kan få kontakt med.
I know a big part of Sweden want revenge or vengeance or whatever you like to call it but this is in my opinion a prof that we havent learned anything by being wiped..
How many times havent we acted like gods and decided who to get wiped, how many times havent Sweden wiped the floor with Denmark and Norway simply because we could? I dont defend or aprove what Finland did but common how many times havent we done the exact same thing perhaps not to Finland but you get the point.
All the papers about Sweden learnd a leasson is bull**** if it werent for the fact that Valnad is in charge i would not have the motivation to fight for our survival. Perhaps my opinion is a minority but if so i fear for our future.
Sweden can no longer survive by military means, adapt or die.
Well can´t sweden count on the military force and supremacy, this game will die out.
Sweden is a strong nation, if we don´t fight for that and fight for our survivor, why play at all?
The fun of this game is the war part, and the fight to become a superpower.
Yes ther is political goal also, but the core of the game is war.
We fight and win, some day we loose but we rise again.
We in sweden rule our life, not the finnish people.
If we dont have retribution and fight for what we belive, we will be some one else slave.
Apparently we have diffrent opinions about fun, for me this is not about war. I dont think its fun to hit the fight button over and over but what i do enjoy is all the diffrent people playing this game.
Enjoying the war mecanism dosent meen you have to throw logic and reason out the window, of course we must free Sweden from Finland and Russia but what i do oppose is taking "revenge" without considering about our chanse of success and ability to do so.
Sweden wont win by playing martyrs.
We have diffrent opinions and i respect your opinion but i find you to be a bit naive.
Yes, we have different opinions and that's good, it would be boring if everyone thinks the same.
I also play this game for the different people you get to know in this game.
Few online games of this type has the community that eRepublik has.
But the fact is that many play because in the bottom this is a war game.
The political and economic part does not work 100% that it would be satisfactory.
Even if the war part lacks a lot to but it is ten times better than the other.
I think it is now the game is fun for the first time, the opportunity to fight to take back our regions but also to give back / revenge.
Just as it would be IRL.
Many play this game for the fun of war.
I love when something is happening and not only the train and work ritual.
Do you really think the Finns let us go if we take back our regions?
No, they will attack again, why should not we be those who take the first step then, and take the war to their own land.
They wipe us for a reason, they will wipe us again and again if we dont make a stand!
We need to show them that we are strong and that they need to fight hard if they whant to win.
A peace agreement is on our condition is not theirs.
Do you think I'm naive, then it's your thing.
I say what I think is best for the future of Sweden, a strong, free and independent country that has allies who we can trust.
Finland, we can not trust more.
Finland had huge baby boom and at the moment whole nation is in a changing spot. Most of the new players are young kids who just wanna have shortly fun and then they may quit this game so it's always kind of hard to keep old diplomatic line if neighbour two diplomatic lines fighting towards each others (old players vs. new players). You need to convince also new players in order to get what you want. Number of new players is larger than old ones so in politics you need them both.
If the Finns had wanted peace they would not wipe us.
Such a treachery could not go unpunished.

ok. Anyway, there's a big debatable question, what nation is the evil one. I had a lot chances to become assured that eSwedes don't wanna know the true history of their relations with eRussia.
Relations with Russia? There is no such thing. Russia is the enemy, now and forever. Period.
The thing with Finland is that i am mostly very disappointed in their actions as i and many swedes with me considered the finns as our friends. Joining up with the russians to attack us was a very low blow.
@Mcrave most of the finns don\t wanna get peace (since most of the finns are those new players). But old people usually speak about peace.
@Carl Wrede joining up with russians wasn\t that low since they have been important ally of Finland for a kinda long time. But that attacking to Sweden is kinda disappointing. I believe that you can still count most of your old friends as a friends but now you have to remember that there are over 2000 new players who don\t care about anything. There isn\t much what couple old players can do against em.
