Redeploy... why would it lead to teleport?

Day 1,012, 15:06 Published in Serbia France by ArKanis38

You all know that when the V2 has been released, soldiers couldn’t redeploy anywhere they want when fighting in a battle.
When you died or retreated and tried to redeploy, only a few tiles (or one) were propose😛 the ones around your old position.

Recently, admins allowed us to redeploy anywhere on the map at anytime. That’s what I call teleporting. At that time, the rounds were 2m15 or something like that.

Well, I spoke with many people and we all think it kills the strategy and isn't realistic at all. Indeed, a whole complex strategy is pretty useless now. We used to distract enemies on a side of the map and then lead a smaller squad to operate elsewhere. This isn’t possible anymore.
We also used to surround enemies, which is now quite useless since they can redeploy behind your backs at anytime.

Another point concerns air units. They are even more useless than before! They used to represent the "blitz" army since they have a three tile movement. Well, anybody can go as fast as they go, now.

A compromise between the old version and the actual is required!
So far, there are two solutions.
1) Change of rules
- Don't allow to teleport when the soldier retreats
- Allow to teleport when the soldier dies

2) Limitations
- Allow a soldier to teleport only once per hour (or a little more?)

Either 1) or 2) would solve the problem.
Anyway, since the rounds are now 90s, we wouldn't have to wait that long to cross the map which was the first reason of the changes.

I hope you'll agree with us and try to convince admins to do something about it!
Any suggestion is welcome 🙂

Hello,

Recently, you allowed us to redeploy anywhere on the map at anytime.
This kills the strategy and isn't realistic at all.

What we suggest to do is:
- Don't allow to teleport when the soldier retreats
- Allow to teleport when the soldier dies

This way, we could try to distract enemies on a side of the map and then ask another squad to operate else where, or surround enemies.

Anyway, since the rounds are now 90s, we wouldn't have to wait that long to cross the map.

I hope you'll consider this suggestion.

Sincerely.

Thank you!
