Reconcilliation

Day 1,122, 00:04 Published in South Africa South Africa by Miyagiyoda

Today is the Day of Reconciliation in South Africa.

It is when we spend the time to reflect on our past. We consider the wrongs done by us and those perpetuated on others. It is a time for insight, introspection, and most important - forgiveness.

Brazil has invaded South Africa on numerous occasions. This last time is by agreement to free us of the Hungarian occupation that has plagued us for months.

We chose on this day to forgive Brazil their past wrong:

- We forgive the defenestration of our goats. In reflection this is a cultural practice that we accept as such. We do encourage our guests to respect our irrational abhorrence of animal cruelty.

- We forgive Brazil for use our goats as ornaments during the festive season.

- We even forgive some of their weirder sexual practices involving goats. All we ask is that there is consent.

We promise to curb our trolling and to work on a genuine affection born out of more than rivalry.

South Africans are bitter enemies with a stubborn resistance born from a tumultuous past. South Africans are also solid allies. Our reputation is earned. Ask USA, ask Romania, ask Australia, ask Israel, ask EDEN. Embrace this opportunity to win the hearts of the dachshunds of eRepublik - small but with the hearts of lions. We retreat form no challenge.

On this Day of Reconciliation, embrace us by showing your honour so that you may be called friend.

Amandla, Awethu.
