Day 1,492, 18:02 Published in USA USA by John Largo

So, I just completed that mission to beat your previous best battle damage. If this helps anyone, I screwed up the first time I tried to win this. Somehow I misread it and thought that it was my total damage for the day, not in a particular campaign. So I spread my damage to the most needed battles throughout the day. It has to be all in one campaign.

On a related note, you won’t be able to see your progress as you go. You have to wait until the campaign is completed before you can click the icon to get your reward.

On a positive note, completing this mission opens up a new mission, “Increase Your Damage”. You have to gain 10% of your Military Rank Points by day 1505. I have heard that the reward is that Admin matches your 10%. This is a pretty good reward if rank is important to you. For me I have to earn 2,330,221 points over the next 13 days. Or 179,247 per day, which is 1,792,470 per day in base damage (no bazookas or bonuses). I’ll need to get all of my food fights in with Q6 tanks, plus some extra gold fights per day.

My thoughts on the new Q6s.
Q6 Tanks. These are a new necessity for anyone hoping to keep up with the Joneses and increase their standing in the rankings. I upgraded my companies. I hope Admin is truthful when he says this is a limited time offer. The Q6 tank provides 120% damage bonus (compared to 100% for Q5) and lasts for 6 rounds (versus 5 for other weapons). Therefore Q6s produce 144% more damage than Q5s. As a result, if this was not a temporary offer, prices for Q6s would be 144% of Q5s. At current prices around $26 for Q5s, Q6s should be around $37 ($3 discount as I write). But considering the “limited” offering and presumed high demand for the top Q weapon, I expect the market to trend toward a slight premium to the 144% calculation.

Q6 Food. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about this “improvement”. Basically the points made are $/wellness should be roughly the same for all Qs, and that the 12 wellness benefit does not divide evenly into the 100 wellness max. The biggest benefit of Q6 food is less inventory space consumed per wellness (about 20% less than Q5). I have found that if you keep some lower Q food in inventory, it helps with the 12 wellness benefit. So, 10 Q5s = either 9 Q6s (about every 19th one is partially wasted) or the combination of 8 Q6s plus a Q3. Assuming we are willing to waste a portion of a Q6, then we can use 111% to project the price of Q6s. At current Q5 prices of around $2.50, Q6s should be $2.78 ($3.08 premium at the current lowest offer). With food, I don’t think the “limited” offer will have as much effect, as the only real benefit is storage preservation, and storage is fairly cheap in my opinion.

Also, I am a Marine, a member of the eUS Military. Its great and I encourage others to join too. Semper Fi!
