NI is an Irish region that is just still colonized. The Brits gave back India, and Hong Kong, and many other colonies. They know NI is due to be returned to it's homeland, but they just haven't gotten around to it in RL. We can remedy that in the e-world.

The Brits don't need NI, since they have 3 other fish regions. The only reason for them to want it, is out of spite. If they spite us in a peace offer, then they don't really want peace.

Tbf, we should be looking at what will suit our inGAME interests best. Since Canada has the facilities to landswap with the USA for fruit (Pennsylvania), everyone's interests would best be served by the UK swapping Wales&SWoE for NI&Louth. It would maximize resource access of all countries (UK still has it's Alum advantage) and close UK borders with the USA, who they aren't very pally with these days.

However resources are not the reason this war continues. Posts suggesting the they are using this as a TERRA/EDEN dmg drain are also false. The UK needs to wipe us to prove their validity as a eWorld power.

I find that to be of some merit Sweet. If the eUK is larger than we are, on the allied side of larger powers than we are, and generally constitutes a larger population than we do, it sounds only right that whatever reason war began no longer has merit in the justification; war for the sake of oppression and showmanship of prowess clouds the mind and causes attrition on both sides.

I'm from Northern Ireland, born and bred, and I'm damn proud to be British and believe Northern Ireland should be part of the UK. Does that make me a racist? It may mean I'm a bigot (because I'll admit, I'll be on the next boat to the UK mainland if a referendum to rejoin Ireland is ever passed in my life time, god forbid). In fairness my reasons are not political but purely economical/UK-is-better-than-Ireland-in-everything-al.

Also protip: Northern Ireland is not a disputed region. Ireland officially gave up their claim to Northern Ireland in the Good Friday Agreement. Hence why erepublik recognises Northern Ireland as separate from Ireland. It's only die hard republicans that still give a shit about it.

I did not compare British people to Nazi's. Are today's German's Nazis? NO! I compared a particular ancient British regime to them... not the whole British people for all time. When one British regime is responsible for killing half of Ireland's population at the time (10 million down to 6 million), then yes... there are certain parallels to the holocaust. No modern Brit was part of that regime, and they are not accountable for those crimes.
