Rageldo Dimagiba Represents YOU! Luzon!

Day 488, 00:39 Published in Philippines Philippines by Rageldo Dimagiba

My fellow Luzon citizens,

I am running for Congress representing our capital region of Luzon.
And under the banner of Philippines for the Filipinos (PFF).
To tell you the truth, I'm half Bisaya and half Ilocano.
That makes me a full blooded Filipino.

As some of you may know, I'm the author of the Daily Coconut, and have been actively gathering information for you to read.
I dedicate this newspaper to the citizens of eRepublik to promote transparency in society.

If I take this office, I will base my decisions on what the people need and what is best.
I will be eager to listen to your requests.

It's not about me. It's about you helping me help you!

So here are the first bills I'll propose when I get into office.

War games / BALIKATAN Exercises
Here, the ePhilippines will make a mutual agreement with neighboring countries to hold friendly war games.
The nation with a higher average strength will be the one to be attacked to reduce risks of a real occupation taking place.
This is a very efficient way to strengthen our military forces; producing generals, colonels and field marshalls in the Philippine Armed Forces;
and boosting the military strength average of each country that participates.
This is a win-win situation - a war with the only intention of strengthening each country's army.

Malaysia, anyone?

Lower import tax on food
As we all know, there are little choices of food in the ePhilippine Market.
Q1 to Q2 foods are just not enough for the bellies of our citizens, especially for those working in Higher Quality companies, and who train everyday.
Our import tax of - a whopping 50% - keeps away foreign companies who may want to sell us Q3 foods or higher at affordable prices.
Furthermore, it makes the Higher Quality food, which are already available in the market, inaccessible to most Filipinos.
We should make it to at most 20% until we have our own companies that provide all Q's of food.

Higher minimum wage
With 1.50 Php as pay per day, our citizens can't buy even the cheapest Q1 food in the maket.
Thus, resulting in mass starvation in the country, eventually decreasing the population.
We shall increase the minimum wage to at least 2.00 Php.

So on the Day of Election - March 25,
Don't forget Rageldo Dimagiba, at your service...
