Quo vadis, Food Industry?

Day 112, 20:23 Published in Indonesia Indonesia by eIndonesiaGroup
So many problems needs to be solved ...
So many obstacles needs to eliminated ...
So many GM's who don't understand ...

People talks, people complains ...
But they never come with actions, they keep complains ...
Guys, where will we bring the food industry to?
Bankrupt? Or a sustainable economy?

*sigh*

eIndonesian Food Industry is going down, declining to a point which i call as "Masa Senja" (refer to my article written in Indonesia, [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/article-72781.html]Senja di Industri Makanan[/a]

Well, here comes the theory. Business cycles are thought to be a normal part of living in a world of inexact balances between supply and demand. What turns a usually mild and short recession or "ordinary" business cycle into an economic depression (or Masa Senja) is a subject of the imbalance between the supply and demand, plus some major effects of unordinary variables.

Lets take a look at the facts in food industry.

eIndonesia have 24 food companies, but only 13 of them are doing normal business, supplying foods for 1236 registered citizen in Indonesia. Don't know for sure, but i guess only about 300 citizens are active player (based on prior general election). Okay, lets say that 500 citizens (active and clones) are purchasing foods, that makes a 500 demand each days. So each of the 13 active food company should be selling 38 foods each day. By selling 38 foods per day, we'll be able to pay our employees, plus creating little amount of profit for us. But that's not happening. Based on companies sales in March (till 10th):

Chocolate & Roses only selling 12.6 foods per day, Hanamasa Resto, 30.9, 😛PfV=, 19.6, Good Food, 17.6. If we calculated the 13 companies sales, we'll have an average of 27.7 sales. There's one anomalies, which can be explained by the sales report of foreign companies. Burger King and Comidas, are selling in big deals, creating a GOLD outflow to abroad.

The GMs are facing the facts that our sales is going nowhere (low). We (the GMs) don't sure, must we conquer other countries market, or survive the home competition? Quo vadis?

We must face the competition from foreign companies, selling in lower price. We try to sell abroad, but other countries are raising their import tax (almost all major countries, except for eIndonesia and eUK are setting it on 99😵. Citizens keep purchasing foreign products. Citizens are calling for salary raise. The major increased the country tax, saying that "we need money for hiring guardians or something". The government still giving us a 20% VAT plus a 12% Income Tax. Tell me, how can we afford to do so, if we can't sell in normal price, plus in normal amount?

The GMs are part of the nation. We employ citizens, giving them salary so they can purchase food, weapon, house, etc. We pay tax to the government, both local and regional, so they can have money in the nation's account. But still, we are fighting alone. eIndonesian people, citizen and government, believe me. The GMs are struggling, fighting the problems, trying to solve, but we'll collapse if we fight on our own. We need your attention, we need your help.

For other GMs, obey the minimal price agreement.
For citizens, purchase only eIndonesian products.
For government, lower the tax.

Have a nice day
