How to get high damage without fighting more?

It all depends on strenght, boosters and stuff. Guerrilla fights do help too, they boost our normal damage per 100 energy spent

Training, Gain Str,

You can use Guerilla Fights as they give you better dmg with no xp spent (You have to spend xp for the 5 kills before each fight)

But for now, I would suggest keep on training
