PVP - effects and side-effects

Day 1,947, 04:59 Published in China USA by Elongated Musket

I'll be quick and to the point …

Military

Premises:
- A win grants you 200 energy in "influence with a Q7 weapon".
- A loss grants you 100 energy in "influence with a Q7 weapon".
- The Energy that is not lost in the Guerrilla Fight is returned to the total Energy

Side Effects:
- Battle Hero should now require even more damage to get.
- Rocket Factories are (once again) obsolete 🙁 🙁.
- Damage boosters granted by Q5 Rocket Factories are useless if you're a good PVP player
(why invest in a 50% bonus for 5 minutes when you can double (or more) your damage ?)
- Calculations will have to be made on the profitability of "Super items" when going for Battle Hero.

Money and Economy.

Premise(s):
- The equipment for Guerrilla Fights cannot be manufactured. It can be bought from the inventory page or received when winning fights.

Side Effects:
- PVP will be a currency sinkhole, and considering the fact that none of the items are based on the current economy.
- The CC demand will put even more pressure on the Monetary Market dropping the exchange rate even further.

- The more people use PVP the less they'll need regular weapons and further increase overproduction.

Update:
- The fact that you get to deal 100 energy in "influence with a Q7 weapon" in case of a LOSS means you actually DO NOT NEED TO USE Q7 weapons AT ALL !!!

What do you think about that ??

You actually DO NOT NEED WEAPONS to deal FULL DAMAGE before the 1400 points mark ... You can just lose every fight and still deal 100 energy worth of Q7 weapons.

If that's not the Gravestone to the already dying Weapons industry, i don't know what is ...

- The prices of "Super Items" may seem low, and you may think "phuck it, i'll just buy that Type X Sniper Rifle" but they'll slowly add up.
- I've seen the prices of Super Items rise with each Beta / Release (Sniper: 0.09->0.11->0.12).
Update/Explanation: Prices are based on the Monetary Market exchange Rate

Final thoughts.

PVP pushes the game even more towards "Single Player".

The only good macro-effect of PVP that i can see is the fact that it will decrease the importance of fighting clones (i know they don't exists, but for argument's sake let's just assume they do 🙂 ) in the first part of the battle (PVP stops at the 1400 points mark).

Here's some b00bs as an apology for stressing your eyes:

You may now return to your scheduled clicking ...

Later edit (clarifications):

100/200 energy worth of influence
- A win/loss grants you energy in "influence with a Q7 weapon"
How to calculate that:
- Go to http://erep.root.se
- Enter your strength, rank and
- 10 number of fights for loss
- 20 fights for win.

Bonus Damage
Th bonus damage is calculated based (mostly) on Strength and ~??% Based on Rank. The Bonus damage applies to your weapons.

For example the Shotgun deals 9 damage. You have +2 bonus damage.
The shotgun will deal: 9+2 => 11 damage.
