Put Into Perspective, thoughts on V2

Day 960, 20:45 Published in Canada Canada by Citizen HEM

So, after a restless day of having our faces meshed to the aquarium of Erepublik Rising, we now see for ourselves the third installment of our second world here. Review appear to be mixed, and as tempted as I am to stray from that line of thought and lash out to the world in a wave of fury and unexplainable anger, I will toe the line and nod to the consensus.

As a member who saw the transition from the Beta version to V1, I can say that this process was far smoother and better. Perhaps better because less changes were made on the whole, whilst the beta and V1 appeared to be totally different games. This is partially the reason that many betababies have been long gone, due to frustration with the changes we utterly despise and the home we long-fully miss.

But enough nostalgia and more story. On the whole, V2 seems to be ticking somewhat in tune with what the member base was interested in. Yes, I admit the war module appears to be frustrating. The dealing with the frankly bizarre graphics in order to get to your establishment is strange and cheesy. But I'm not horribly deterred from continuing on with the game. Obviously, some people are, and in many ways that is inevitable with any progression or regression in this world, and in the real one. The only shame is that it takes us quite a period to figure out whether the change is progressing us, or having us fall backward.

As it is, I think we are standing stagnate. No changes knock my socks off, nor do any make me want to wish nothing but ill upon our admins. I'm disappointed Mayors were not ushered back into the game alongside 50 tons of gold for me to use and enjoy, but that is life, and that is this article.

Until Next Time?
