If you marry japanese, you won't become japanese. But, your kids, if they act like japanese, can become japanese.

For example, you are half Italian - half Spanish. And how are you feeling - that's another question. You can say that you are Martian.
But still, you'll be Italian - Spanish.
Like Zodi is Japanese - French. And he feels like Japanese. he has Japanese roots. So he can be Japanese. If he marry Japanese girl, their kids will be Japanese etc.

More specifically; You are Japanese if you have a Japanese passport. If you have a Japanese passport then you should act like other Japanese passport holders (and the government that issued you the passport) expect you to act. Physical appearance can be easily modified to visually fit in but your attitude / actions and the effects these have of society are a different matter. Bottom line, Nationality is not based on cultural identity or genetic makeup (that is ethnicity) but rather decided by the 'tribe' that you are officially affiliated with and recognised by. This is why it has been made very difficult to get citizenship in Japan (because most people who want it cannot act like / do not understand Japanese). Note1: This is a big part of the reason Zainichi Koreans are despised (because they have all the rights of Japanese citizens but do not act Japanese and will not give up their Korean identity).
Note2: Marrying into Japan will only get you a 'dependants visa', not citizenship. If the mother is Japanese the children will get Japanese citizenship. If the mother ever divorced you, you would lose the via and be kicked out of Japan.

Nationality don't matter. I agree with you. eJapan was a multinational country. WAS. Because now i see a party that has 35 % of Congress made up of only one nationality., serbians. The Cp is Serbian and so is the MOD, the MoF and the MoFA of Japan, the "oh so multinational country" has become eNewSerbia, a country where having the serbian nationality does matter.
Long story short: Japan is ruled by serbians and that is called a PTO in eRepublik.
