There was a variety of mixed advice regarding Hyperphas and the noob Senator jumped the gun. A number of Senators are looking into this and hopefully we'll hear from our officials shortly on a course of action. This much is for sure: if the offending Senator took a bribe he will be toast come the next election and no longer a threat. He can buy all the votes he likes - he'll be the highest vote yielding disqualified candidate on the ballot. Aussies have ways to deal with this

It also doesn't help that age old orgs with misleading names mess around giving orders to newb senators.

You cannot force Senators to actually read their notices. All you can do try stop them being elected ever again. The responsibility for this falls squarely on Senator Brennan Shields.
