It was really impressive how Mayor Tyler DurdenCC rallied the citizenry together and received 14 votes out of a city with 20 members. Especially when you consider that the last mayor, Salvadore Dali only got his own vote to secure the mayor\'s office.
But can this great turnout impress the government that we are worthy of Federal funding to help us gain a Hospital? I\'ll be interested to see how Mayor DurdenCC presents Providence to President Dishmcds as an active city ready to accomodate foreigners and patriots alike with a Hospital destined to go all the way.
It certainly helps that the President and Mayor DurdenCC of of the same party in RIC.
I hope our newly elected mayor is pushes for greater Providence autonomy.
We are better than all of those other sleazes and as such should be treated as higher order beings.
As a new citizen of Providence, I am please to have voted for our newly elected mayor! I am looking forward to good things for our fine city during his term.
Providence intrigues me. I may have to look at my options... there is scant time for someone to be heard in a bustling economy and a busy political scene.
I long for something more bucolic.
Same, I may be leaving Providence day for the birth lights of the big city.
