The Problem


Right now we have a divided community. No one person is responsible for the division, but almost everyone in the country (save a few) helped create and foster this divide. Everyday it seems to get worse with racism and threats being tossed about by both sides. The divide has even gotten to the point of boycotts of public forums.

What this means is that we do not have a unified eIsrael. One side wants to fight with the other and so forth. The biggest problem is we have no place for both sides to meet except in are articles. The problem with meeting in articles is that it ultimately de-evolves into mud slinging and shouting because the admins of this game have very generic rules they enforce. We need a meeting ground that is fair and safe for all.




The Threat

A certain member of our community has made several threats in public articles recently. Some of those threats are that people need to “stop asking questions” and to “go with the flow”. That is very dangerous thinking that can do a lot of harm to our country. We do not need zombies, we need people who can think of ideas and solutions to our problems.

Forcing people to “step down” because they do not “conform” is a threat to us all. Look at our country - we are a mixing pot. We have people from many different areas with many different back grounds. That should make us stronger, not weaker. Silencing a group of people only makes matters worse by stepping on citizens of our great country.




The Proposal

The player slinging the mud made the cry that I was the sole person responsible for all of this. I disagree. But I’ll prove that I’m not rather than continue to argue. Here is what I propose.

I will step down as administrator of the official forum for eIsrael (http://erepublikisrael.freeforums.org/index.php) if the following criteria are met:

1. Two players are selected to replace me as administrators of the forum. These players will be one (1) foreign player and one (1) FXP using player. They will share the powers of administrator equally.

2. I will help these players Administer the forum for a term of one (1) week after their selection. I will show them how to add users and groups, moderate forums, and modify the forum if need be. Once the week trial is over I will remove my administrator rights.

3. The two new administrators agree to not modify the forum unless asked to by the Knesset (Knesset and General related forums) or President (Cabinet forum). The Knesset must have a majority vote on the change with at least twenty (20) votes being placed.

4. The two new administrators agree to NEVER remove a post or thread posted by ANY player on the forum. They will have the power to lock or split topics if needed but should not remove any topic.

5. The two new administrators agree to never add any other administrators to the forum. In the event one of them wishes to resign a new administrator will be selected by the Knesset to fill the role of the leaving administrator (foreigner to replace foreigner, FXPer to replace FXPer).

6. Perfect.Knight may not be an administrator of this forum. Sorry, but if he wants me to step down and stop being a polarizing figure I’m going to ask the same of him.

Those are the 6 conditions I have.



The Response

I am truly interested in seeing the response to this article. I’m offering to remove the biggest complaint (me) and work with the other side here. All I have are 6 conditions to make sure that the forum is administered correctly without any issues. If the other side truly wants to work with me then they will at least consider this proposal and help me make it work.

Let’s see what happens. That is all I can ask.

הבעיה


כרגע יש לנו קהילה מפולגת. אין אדם אחד אחראי על החלוקה, אבל כמעט כולם בארץ (לחסוך כמה) עזר ליצור ולטפח את הפער. היומיום נראה להחמיר עם גזענות ואיומים מושלך על ידי שני הצדדים. לחלק קיבל אפילו עד לנקודה של חרמות של הפורומים הציבוריים.

פירוש הדבר הוא, כי אין לנו eIsrael מאוחדת. צד אחד רוצה לריב עם השני וכן הלאה. הבעיה הכי גדולה היא שאין לנו מקום לשני הצדדים להיפגש מלבד הם מאמרים. הבעיה עם הפגישה במאמרים היא כי בסופו של דבר דה מתפתח לתוך הבוץ הטלת וצעק כי מנהלים של המשחק הזה יש חוקים כלליים מאוד שהם אוכפים. אנחנו צריכים הקרקע לפגישה כי הוא הוגן ובטוח לכל.


האיום

חבר מסוימות של הקהילה שלנו הפכה איומים כמה מאמרים הציבור לאחרונה. כמה איומים אלה שאנשים צריכים "להפסיק לשאול שאלות" ו "ללכת עם הזרם". כי הוא חושב מסוכן מאוד שיכול לעשות הרבה נזק למדינה שלנו. אנחנו לא צריכים זומבים, אנחנו צריכים אנשים יכולים לחשוב על רעיונות ופתרונות לבעיות שלנו.

אנשים לאלץ "לרדת" בגלל שהם לא "מתאימים" מהווה איום על כולנו. תסתכל על המדינה שלנו - אנחנו סיר ערבוב. יש לנו אנשים מאזורים שונים עם הרבה מטעמים שונים לאחור. זה אמור לגרום לנו חזק, לא חלש. השתקת קבוצה של אנשים רק עושה את העניינים עוד יותר על ידי דריכה על אזרחי המדינה הגדולה שלנו.


ההצעה

אני באמת מעוניין לראות את התגובה למאמר זה. אני מציע להסיר את התלונה הגדולה ביותר (אותי) ולעבוד עם הצד השני כאן. יש לי רק 6 תנאים כדי לוודא הפורום מנוהל כהלכה ללא בעיות. אם הצד השני באמת רוצה לעבוד איתי ואז הם יוכלו לפחות לשקול את ההצעה לעזור לי לגרום לזה לעבוד.
