prophexy's CP manifesto

Now that I have your attention... 😃

My friends,

Today, I will write to you my manifesto. Although I may not be the most experienced player, I have something important to offer eBelgium: love and loyalty. Ever since I first came to Belgium, I have helped all citizens to the best of my abilities. I have sacrificed countless hours working on plans to distribute food to new players, reforming the Supreme Court, and many other aspects of our community such as unity.

Unity. That is something our community currently lacks. Many politicians out there claim to know the answer to this situation. However, I’d like to ask those politicians what they have done about this problem which is tearing our community apart. I have not seen a single person make the effort to change their ways. All I see is fingers being pointed at the person next door, and no real solutions being drawn up. It is vital for a President to be the neutral facilitator who will listen to both sides and not be blinded by a certain side. Everyday, it disheartens me when I see more mud-slinging, whether it’s on the forum, IRC channel, or newspaper. It is time for unity, and I pledge to all of you that I will make this happen!

In order to solve this crisis, here is what I plan to do. First, I will make sure that agreements can be made between all parties. In the past, it was usually the party with the majority who was able to implement their ways, whereas the lesser party was simply ignored of their concerns. Compromises must be made, whether they seem unreasonable or not... that is the point of a compromise, though, to accommodate to both sides. Second, I strongly believe that as a community, we must pick up the slack. It has been many months now since Belgium has actually done something. Many refer to us as the “Nation Who Does Nothing.” Why? Well, I mean, do you think Belgium has done anything? We haven’t. All we’ve done is bicker over the silliest of things, weakening our country.

It is time for change, and that is why I come to you today, Belgian people. I am offering to you realistic, challenging solutions. We cannot solve all problems overnight, and it will take time. However, we must start somewhere, and I am confident that once we achieve unity, we will be able to achieve anything. Now is the time for unity, now is the time for change! Vote Prophexy for Belgium’s November Country President!

Yours Truly,
Prophexy
