Promoting eRepublik and eMalaysia
Firebourne
Good day eMalaysians.
I would like eMalaysians to start promoting this game to their grandparents, parents, uncles, aunties, cousins, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, friends, friends of your friends and friends of your friend's friend.
Let's face, eMalaysia has a small population. As a result of that, I believe that it's easy for pto-ers to pto our beloved eNation. Now, I'm nearly clueless as to how we can promote this game to real life Malaysians. Let's face it, real life Malaysians are not really "patriotic" and we do seem to shun off politics of any sort (perhaps that's the reason why we're screwed at the moment).
I do not want real life Malaysians to give up. I want each and every one of you to publish ways where we can try to promote this game to real life Malaysians. How can we pull the crowd? How can we convince Malaysians that eRepublik is a game worth playing? Share the ideas by publishing articles. That way, maybe the newbies might be able to help out as well and they might be able to do something.
DO NOT GIVE UP, MALAYSIANS!
Regards,
Firebourne

@Pet Wussy: Not Ah Wang and his Banhammer. Its Se7en actually. Referral links are illegal at Lowyat, but link to the game isn't. So, we'll have to be smart about it.

Bros we tried hard to promote erepublik. We gave lots of MYR's tanks foods to the newbies. But it's very hard to keep newbies in the game. We started more than 50 in the game last months but only 15-20 was kept in the game even though we cared with them one by one. They're bored after 20th level or so.
I, personally really be happy if thousands of RL malaysians play this game for stronger emalaysia... If a newbie starts and help needed i can care with him.
Terima kasih xD

@Bloody_Baron: Well, we have to keep trying. I'm really interested in finding out how we can attract more RL Malaysians. This is the key thing. Today, we just saw the admins unleash their "Q6" factories at really bizarre costs. Considering that Euro is really expensive in Malaysia, how many Malaysians would consider buying gold and playing the game on that basis? They'll feel that the game no longer has any purpose after level 20 mainly because that's the level RL Malaysians will be willing to play. After that, being able to buy gold will be the key thing. In our case, its nearly impossible because of the exchange rate. xP
May be we should try to attract Malaysians living abrode (USA) They'll be able to afford more may be. But the question is how? x(
I would suggest that we talk with foreign nationals about how they have successfully done babybooms.
@Bloody_Baron: We could, but that's a really good question. How do we communicate with those abroad. I myself hardly have any relatives abroad nor are they interested in games like eRepublik. They all want Battlefield...
@Myntax Urne: Good idea. Calling MoFA!
