Bruck's Plan for the Canadian Empire Party



Introduction

Since the initial announcement of my returning to Canadian Empire Party leadership I have already tackled some of my roughly outlined goals. After all, I dress for the job I want, not the job I have got. Already we at the CEP have seen a 20% increase in party membership since I announced my revitalization plans. Now, I will not seize credit for this growth but sometimes all a party needs is enthusiasm and a few motivated members behind it, combine that with strong leadership and progress can’t help but be made. In the following article I will lay out my plans for progress and explain how I will be a driving force behind the CEP in the coming month.




Party Growth

The biggest and most obvious issue facing the Canadian Empire Party is the current and projected size of it’s membership. While normally I would say “it’s not the size that counts, it’s how you use it!” but alas, eRepublik is vein and a party must be one of the top 5 to ride this political rollercoaster. So we will straighten up, drink a whole lot of milk, and simply put we will grow.

Become a top 5 Party

I promised that by next month the CEP would be a top 5 party, the 20% growth we have already seen since my announcement is a damn good platform for our jumpstart into mainstream politics. With the economy in the shape it is and the lack of a real war, it’s no wonder the CEP seems so attractive. Through an assertive recruiting campaign and several party reforms I intend to bring the CEP to the forefront of eCanadian politics. There has been a lot of bad media attention to the CEP in the last few months, I intend to make sure that’s over and done with.

The CEP already has plans in place to form a media committee to organize and write several articles explaining the CEP’s stance on issues ranging from the declining economy, a need for war, and tips for new citizens. My goal will be to show people just why the CEP is the best choice for them and for Canada. Under my leadership I will ensure the CEP creates a series of articles explaining just what war can do for the average citizen and the economy, how joining the CEP will bring more war, and will stimulate the economy in the process.


Increase Forum Activity


The Canadian Empire Party forums are a "buzz" with activity

With the recent growth in in-game membership the CEP needs to reach out to our new members and bring them onto the forums so that we can not only maintain their presence in the future but give them a reason to help us grow in turn. Simply having enough members to be a top 5 party means little if they aren’t talking and aren’t communicating with everyone else. A two clicker who joined a party for the name has no reason to stay whereas the member who’s on the forums talking and laughing with a group of friends will remain and help wherever they are able. This is the sort of membership we need and I will ensure the Reiksguard commits to bringing these members onto the forums and helping them to want to get involved.



Imperial Accords

The Canadian Empire Party already has policy and protocol in written form, this series of rules and regulations are known as the Imperial Accords. During my term I intend to address several critical issues that must be amended or added to the Imperial Accords. These include task oriented positions of leadership and more pro-active problem solving within the CEP.

Task Oriented Positions

The CEP has always had a Privy Council, but what do they actually do? The leadership of the party meets and discusses various issues as they come up, it’s all well and fine but who’s actually doing anything? It’s all a lot of talk. I will establish task oriented positions within the CEP so that each member in a leadership position has a specific task lain out before them. Without a specific task people will not think for themselves, instead it’s break time. Tasks such as general recruiting, the media committee, helping new members adjust to the forums, and the effectiveness of the Reiksguard will all be distributed to qualified leadership candidates with a performance review to be completed twice a month. If results are not being met position will be in jeopardy. This way we will not stagnate and no position will be set in stone, everyone must work for us to succeed.

More Pro-Active problem solving

In an effort to speed up the rate that new ideas are put into practise a committee of free thinkers will be established so that the CEP can always stay ahead of the curve. New issues will be identified, discussed and a solution put into place all within the matter of a short few days. This however will not be the end of it as the committee will continue to evaluate the solution and rate it’s effectiveness. If they decide that the solution was not acceptable a new solution will be proposed and put into action until the best solution to any problem is found. I will not allow the Canadian Empire Party to stagnate and with a constant approach to progress and we will not.



With am emphasis on party growth and continued attention to the Imperial Accords that bind us together the Canadian Empire Party will grow and it will become stronger from within. The only remaining factor is the strong and dedicated leadership our fast growing membership needs. On March 15th vote for Bruck and vote for a future the CEP can be proud of. Together we will show eCanada what we are capable of bring attention to the most important issues facing us today, war and the economy.
