Presidents Report Day 1021, A Sorry Day for Ireland.

Fellow Citizens, today should have been a memorial day for you and me, the start of a new term and fresh hope for Ireland, but things changed dramatically this evening, and Ireland now has a long uphill struggle ahead of it.


As is normal in CP elections the Outgoing administration provides the new Counttry President with a list of Goverment Orgs, state Companys and the Passwords to them, normally by a link to a google document or an email.

The incoming Vice president then changes the Org passwords & email addresses to protect them from malicious use from previous people with access.

however the transfer was not completed today, by the previous administration, and this eve the Previous Vice president:

took Control of our national bank:

and changed the password & email address, so no one else could gain access it, despite requests from the current VP Moomoohead to return it, he did not, shouting on the banc's shoutbox that:

Banc Ceannais the being held by the Irish DefencE Forces Command.
Donations will be start every 10 hours to Padraig Pearse if talks fail

eventually after much chat on the irc he supplied Moomoohead with passwords for the state assets/banc that proved to be worthless.

Things then took a more serious turn when:
Irish state Industries and the Dept of Resources orgs were subject to a brutal and ruthless attack.
All state companies held in these orgs were sold/melted down and the gold transferred to Banc Ceannais, and as i write this gold, has been transferred out of it via the money market as it is not showing on the banc's donations list.

I have spoken to snake about the Mods restoring the companies, and his view is that the Orgs were not hacked as Niall H has the login/password details as VP, and as such we will not get them restored and have effectively lost any RM in them, any cash not transferred, any finished products and scrapped them for half the money it took to make them, with no hope of recovering any of the loss.

Myself, Moomoohead, Kolshire, Dubh and several other players spent over seven hours trying to get to the bottom of this fiasco, and tried to recover the remaining state assets unsuccessfully with the email password recovery function.

This was a well planned out attack on us by Niall H, and not the 'Just for Fun' he said it was initially promising to return them shortly.

Snake has contacted a G-Mod to try and recover control of Banc Ceannais, and is currently checking to see if he can access any of the State Orgs/companys.

The only glimmer of good news is that Ian Arbuckle the IDF Chief of staff, managed to change the Department of defence Org password and its company's are safe.

Niall and those who helped him in this crime will be brought to justice, the loss of these assets to ireland is an almighty blow, but we shall prevail.
