Presidential Platform - Alfred Ball

People of eAustria I come before you today to declare my candidacy for president of our spectacular country. I will start out by saying we have come extremely far in the past two months under Rangeley's two mandates as president. But the major things lacking in eAustria are that of our domestic issues. Where we have had a major focus abroad it is time to focus on our own needs, economically, the people, our military.

Under Rangeley I have seen our once proud armed forces dwindle down to quite literally nothing. Not a single a troops was enlisted for action or to defend us proudly. Where we have focused is where we have succeeded greatly, but our most important aspect has been completely forgotten, and that is our domestic problems.

I came in as acting MoD 'unofficially,' within 24 hours we had a National Guard all signed up and ready to go, you know what effort this took? 10 minutes of writing an article and adding images and hyperlinks to go with it. Apparently RexLudi has better things to do then care for about the defense of his country. An acquaintance of mine known as Metallon brings up excellent points in his article about endorsing Oraizan for president of eAustria. We have seen what Rangeley has set out to do and that is make us look better in the eyes of the eWorld. Now it is time to bring the fight back home and stabilize this country.

I offer you eAustria a president and a promise to offer you top notch ministers who I know will be active and always let you know what is going on inside of their ministry constantly.


Foreign Affairs
As I have been observing our current President's policies in this department I believe he has conducted himself on behalf of eAustria very well. We are no longer seen as the pawn that most of the eWorld had once thought were with our brutal and aggressive neighbors known as Hungary. I would like to keep this up and improve relations and reach out with other countries whom we do not have active diplomats with such as Croatia, USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Spain, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Romania, Slovenia, Italy, and Hungary, yes even you Hungary we wish to talk improve relations with. I want to seek a diplomatic end to the war with Indonesia and Malaysia while assisting our allies as much as we can. This area is still very important to me just as much as Rangeley.

I believe staying in PEACE GC (That is still what it is called?! 😛) is best, we have fought an uphill battle to bring it back to where its founding principles lay.

I have talked to Mappina my eMum <3 who would be willing to help me with these goals for our country. I am very excited to announce that if I am elected she will be confirmed MoFA.

Economy
I believe that not enough is being done in this field of government, simply keeping the economy status quo and releasing gold when it is needed on the market is just not going to cut it anymore. So I will be searching for a minister who can be trusted and knows what they are doing 100%

Defense
For the better part of two months there was a running joke of when someone said the "eAustrian Military" another person would say "what military?" This is quite a funny joke but underneath this joke is disgrace, we have seen our country stripped entirely of a military. The barracks vacant, the troops deserted. I wish to follow through with the Austrian National Guard (A.N.G.), and keep it active mandatory check ins and expand on this fighting force. I have also been thinking of a reinvigorated Special Forces unit that eAustria can use at its disposal and be highly mobile to be anywhere in a moments notice to fight for freedom and our allies. This is very possible to achieve, and if elected I intend to follow through with this as soon as possible. eAustrians will once again have a military that they can be proud of.

Health
This is another position in the government I have yet to see utilized even in the slightest. Possibly one of out most important ministers in helping the growth of our country and helping citizens spike there wellness, whether it be to help them obtain enough wellness to fight in a training war to enable them eligible to the hospital or just plain answering question that are asked by our citizens in need of learning about the game mechanics.
