Ok! So I wrote this great analysis about the presidential impeachment and I'm upset that it didn't get published. So I'm going to rewrite a slightly smaller version of it.

*ahem*

Why is the president of gabberattack being impeached (or attempted to)? The vote has started a mere 9 hours ago with the vote at a close 6-6. Why? It's politics! What do you expect? But to be serious...

So, what happened?

studan, in his 50 day eLife has made 3 shouts. He started the bill against gabberattack. His last shout states that gabberattack has commited "treason" by declaring peace with Hungary. Other congressmen seem to agree.

The confusion?

Is gabberattack's actions really treason?
Is the bill a politcal stunt?
Did gabberattack do the right thing?
Is there some sneaky happenings going on?!?!?!

HUH!?!!?!!

My views

There is hate towards the Hungarians here apparently. Coming from the eUSA, I also do not like what Hungary did to our country. But is ending the war with Hungary really treason? If we continued the war, would we win? If we demanded more money for peace would they give it to us?

My answer is no. I think gabberattack is being rational. Whatever happens however will happen. I hope he does not get impeached over declaring peace to a country who we cannot win against. As for this being a political stunt, I do not know. So I will not comment on that.
