Presidential Elections; Interview with the candidates!

Dear Readers,

Tomorrow the next Country President will be chosen! We have 3 candidates this month. And to give you a good insight in their way of thinking, I have had 3 separate interviews with them. Let's start!


We'll start off with Garmr, running for Iron and Wine. Supported by Democratisch Nederland and Geuzen Partij Nederland!

1. Why do you want to be the next President of the eNetherlands?
Why wouldn't I.

2. What do you think of the current situation in the eNetherlands?
Recent developments have shown we're in need of a newly written lawbook. We also have to keep strong FA going as we are in the process of becoming occupied by Hungary for our oil region.

3. Are there any key problem(s) where the eNetherlands is struggling with?
Cabinet communication is often too little, even to congress. Another problem is that congress sees itself as the almighty lord high executioner while for a large part they're underinformed due to the above. The third problem is military organization.

4. How do you want to solve these key problem(s)?

Appoint irc-active people to the positions where these problems occur, tell them what needs to happen, stay away from micromanagement and kick ass if any of them slack off.

5. What's your opinion about the achievements of our current President?
The first impeached, second impeached or interim? Can't say much has happened in any of the stages.

6. What would you have done differently?
Not interfere in the supposed Belgian PTO problem, definitely. An influx of RL Belgian players is nothing I would consider a PTO risk, especially while the 'ruling class' of Belgium is themselves largely from the Balkan.

7. Have you got anything left to say to the citizens of the eNetherlands?
Remember it's all a game, stop hassling eachother over trivialities and unite under the banners of the Holy Garmranic Empire.


Next one is TheGeneralDutch, running for Revolution et Libertas!

1. Why do you want to be the next President of the eNetherlands?
There is need for stability in this country and i believe i can clean up this mess.

2. What do you think of the current situation in the eNetherlands?
It's an unnecessary lack of leadership. Hungary is also planning to wipe us soo.... it's not looking good for us.

3. Are there any key problem(s) where the eNetherlands is struggling with?
internal struggles and differences are destroying this country. the PTO Threat is still here in the netherlands. Hungary is coming close.

4. How do you want to solve these key problem(s)?
- the PTO threat is simple, we just need to coordinate our votes. if every party just chose their ONE candidate before the elections start. all the votes will go to that person. but there is no way to solve that in the small one-man parties.

- We cannot stop Hungary from taking some of our regions. the best thing to do is to wait for our allies since Hungary is a relatively small "superpower" that can easily be defeated if we fight smart.

- I hope the internal struggles will be gone when we are wiped and we will fight for one single cause.

5. What's your opinion about the achievements of our current President?
it was an unnecessary impeachment. lack of communication is not an valid reason for impeachment. i'm not planning on going deeper in this problem since discussing this is now a waste of time but i'm quite close to the people who are affected by the impeachment and therefore know what they did.

6. What would you have done differently?
try to publish more information (!when possible!). there is not much more GDLR did wrong.

7. Have you got anything left to say to the citizens of the eNetherlands?
Let us fight for Glory and may the Force be with you all 😉 o7

1. Why do you want to be the next President of the eNetherlands?
To help eNetherlands futher in the development and keep all of our regions.

2. What do you think of the current situation in the eNetherlands?
at the moment is it a normal situation.

3. Are there any key problem(s) where the eNetherlands is struggling with?
nothing

4. How do you want to solve these key problem(s)?

5. What's your opinion about the achievements of our current President?
He had some wrong things done. Wrong proposals ect.

6. What would you have done differently?
Sort of that he did. Good comminucation, Talk about things.

7. Have you got anything left to say to the citizens of the eNetherlands?
Choose the best candidate for presidency
