Presidential candidate-Kyonkyon

Day 645, 06:25 Published in Japan Japan by Kyonkyon

Congress elections have just finished.
Godzilla party is the big winner.
ULJ was also quite successful.

Now, we have to look at country president elections.

I decided to run country president.

Many may think that I do not have enough experience. This is true.
But I have some reason that are good enough to believe it is good to run for president.

1. I think it is good to have many candidates. This means many options and of course more interesting campaign.

2. Until now I have seen that only Akki is also candidate. Akki is more experienced and more supported than me, but I think it is not good to have the same president elected many times. It is more interesting and fun to have new faces competing.

3. I plan to be open and listen to people. I think the best is to have people decide. I do not want to be the one who controls everything and decides everything. This is not fun. We have many problems to solve and the problems must be solved with discussion. This will make things clear and more entertaining.

Currently there was discussion about Indonesia, PEACE and Japan. Some said government did well others have problems. For me, problem was not decision itself, but how the decision was taken. The discussion about the decision was secret to citizen and only few people decided about this. I think this is not how important problems must be solved. First of all I think it is good to be open to citizens not only to see situation, but also to decide. Many citizens left Japan, after this, which is surely bad for Japan.

After becaming member of cabinet (Secretary of Culture) I discovered that there are secret forums for cabinet members. I do not find any need for this. I do not understand why important political discussion can not be open.

My plan is to changes ministries with teams responsonsible for each affair.
President Minamoto asked for citizens willing to become Secretary of Culture.
I like this very good idea. But I think there is no need to have only one responsible.
Anyone who wants to help, can join the team.
For example we can create economy team, army team, immigration team.
Citizens can participate in any team they like. The can participate in all team if they like.
Decision will be made with elections, preferably open to public.
I do not think we have to hide anything.

4. Media activity.

I plan to be active in media. I try to write one article every day and be close to people.
For me priority is to make Japan a nice and fun place.
Strong economy and army make new citizens come, but I also want many newspapers to read and active citizens with interesting articles.

5. Unity.

There were many problems with citizens from Korea. Some said it is a PTO. This is really sad, since I think we can all try together for the good of Japan. Having different opinion does not mean being enemy. I think we must welcome all foreigners here. It is sad that many foreigners are waiting citizenship.

6. Fairness.

I think a candidate from a minor party can be more fair that the one who is in a big party. I believe that all parties have interesting ideas. It is natural to disagree in many things, but we must respect others. A candidate belonging to a big party can be difficult to be fair. Or maybe difficult to persuade all citizens that is fair.

☆☆☆

For all those reasons I have decided to run.
Currently I do not have support from a party other than mine.
I know that my chances are limited, but I think it is my duty to run.

I really want to see other candidates run and wish all candidates good luck.
We can all cooperate for the good of Japan.
