PPC Elections Tomorrow!

Day 480, 08:54 Published in Canada Canada by Derek Harland

Tomorrow for my first time in this game, I will participate in one of the three votes held by eCanada every month. It is the party presidential vote, one that I will have a much larger role in deciding than any of the other two elections. PPC is a relatively small party with only 119 members and that means that each vote will matter in deciding who will take over as the president of PPC. Politics is a huge par tof this game I have come to notice and I want to take part in it.

Joey Phillips and Robert More are the two candidates in tomorrow's election that are representing PPC. Joey is the favourite in this election as he has been influential to the rebuild of PPC as a contending party for President of Canada. He is also the more experienced member. I don't know much of either man because I am relatively new here so I can't go into too many specifics. I will not say who I am voting for here but I do know who I will be voting for already.

This election is what I intend to participate in one day. I know this is probably a pipe dream as so few ever get to run into an election of any kind but I want to take over as the PPC leader one day. I have always been a progressive conservative advocate and I want to remain one for my career in this game. I joined PPC because I knew that I could make a difference with this party and once I have paid my dues I could contend with the big boys of this party.

So tomorrow, if you are eligible to vote, make sure you get out and vote. Every vote makes the difference and it is important that any election is represented by as many people as possible. No matter how small you think your vote is, it isn't, get out and vote!

This is Derek Harland signing off.
