Possible French Conquest

With a proposal to attack France splitting Congress in half, the chance of going to war is uncertain. But if we were to fight France, what would be the chances of winning? France only have 4 regions, 3 of which can be attacked by the eUK, so could we take them down to their last region.
Fronts and Fighting
If we go to war with France we can attack 3 regions; Upper Normandy, Lower Normandy and Picardy. Upper Normandy borders with the eUK region of South East of England. Lower Normandy borders with the same eUK region, but also South West of England. Picardy borders with South East of England. This means all 3 of those regions can be attacked in the first battle, giving a commander of the war the choice.
eUK and France regions, with Poland and Ireland nearby.
If the eUK attacked France, eUK would be vunerable to neighbours attacking. Ireland and Germany will both be looking for an oppertunity and reason to attempt another conquering of eUK regions. With USA gaining regions they could also be looking to move into Europe by attacking a smaller country such as the eUK. It is unlikely that all of these countries would attack but based on previous wars another country is likely to get involved.

When many people look at going to war they just look at the two countries involved. France is a much stronger country then the eUK. But if the eUK had support of TWO you can guess the difference. Over 300 billion damage done in the past week by 13 MPP's of eUK can surely counquer 3 French regions, especially since some of the strongest countries in the game like Poland and Serbia will be on the eUK's side.

Of course the Irish will. Look at what happened when we airstriked Indonesia, a RW sprung up and a significant amount of Irish fought against the UK. Remember the NAP with Ireland says Ireland will fight for the UK should a wild RW appear, and in return the UK will not totally wipe Ireland.
Givin us the Casus Belli we require to wipe and hold eIreland indefinitely...

Ireland alerted the UK government when that RW popped up.
I personally put out alerts to likely foreign supporters that Ireland didn't want to win the campaign.
And while we can't control every single person's hits, the official, and major MU's stood down and monitored the battle for any risk of it turning.
The Irish military has fought to defeat 2 such RW's since this NAP began.
Until the admins nationalize RW supporting, potential Drain RW's are an accepted reality of any region agreement. Tbh, it's kind of embarrassing for an established British player like you to be complaining about it. If suppressing an unsupported RW is a really big deal for you, it wouldn't bode well for any future military ambitions your country might have.
Also, the Irish government will not NE Britain, AS, or support RW's in Shannon or Mayo during the duration of the NAP which is currently extends to Sept 4th.

Things with France calmed down and the fact they didnt rush to NE the eUK when the treaty was broken speaks volumes...leave them well alone 😉

We shall cross that bridge when we come to it... eFrance will be the least of our problems the moment Poland realise we are nothing but a burden.
Leave France alone. The UK is not strong enough and will just lose the regions gained in RW's. France will then get annoyed and take revenge on the UK.
tl;dr: There is nothing to be gained, only things to be lost.

Ireland won't do anything. They are happy with that they have.
We'll win the war for the useless regions but then lose all of the RWs, and possibly those in our Irish regions too. If you think it is worth it, vote yes. If not, vote no.
Aint that what happens in eRepublik wars? The bonus of losing the Irish regions is the chance to then wipe eIreland again. I understand that your brain can only think short term, but we in the DC look 3 wars ahead at all times.

I wonder why UK airstriked Indonesia. Indonesia is known for it's strong resistance.

I'm afraid both Dr Hugh Jardon and Max Blue are right. While a TW could be nice when things will calm down, I can't see how an attack on us may be profitable to you right now. In the best case, you win and we RW the regions later, and in the worst, we counter attack.
But, hey, nice to hear from our best enemies.
