Before I start; I apologize for the 1 day delay. I was busy with other stuff. I’m now Deputy Prime Minister + Minister of Home Affairs in the eUK you see! 😛


I also have a question before I start. Recently it has come to my attention that you can now buy 1000 subscribers for 10g. What do you think of this? Personally it makes me sad as people who don’t write articles can get the Media Mogul medal and overtake me on subscribers. – We should try and fix that! Hello. Welcome to another edition of eWorld Population Stats! I’d just like to state that due to myself being quite busy now I’m going to try and stick to an article every 2 weeks. Once I have more time I’ll try to do it weekly again.

I am back home for a week! Graphics software ftw. 😃

I have gathered the latest figures on the population. The population shown below are from Sunday every two weeks. I will be posting a new article every other Sunday with updated stats and identifying a best performer and worst performer.

Summary of the last few weeks

Russia

As explained in previous articles; Russia has been the subject of a mass invasion by the USA, Poland and Romania. Over the last month or so it’s looked very bad for Russia with them being wiped off of the map completely. However; they have managed to regain 1 region albeit after congress elections. This has meant they have been subject to a PTO attempt from EDEN. This involved trying to win the Presidential elections with the intention of Declaring War + messing with MPPs anytime they wanted. Russia and Phoenix managed to successfully ward off the PTO thread and now must focus on getting Russia back completely. 🙂

Portugal

Like Russia; Portugal were wiped off the map and had open citizenship for the month. This meant that they were also subject to PTO from EDEN during the presidential elections. Fortunately though they were able to successfully elect a non PTO candidate this month and are on the way to returning back to a complete country.

Spain/Brazil

This is probably one of the most interesting wars at the moment and I’ll be talking about this more below. Basically Spain attacked Brazil and took a couple of regions before Brazil managed to overturn the result and push back into Spanish original regions; Brazil have had a baby boom during this process which probably helped them beat Spain. Currently Brazil are very close to some of the most important Spanish regions and it will be a massive blow to EDEN if they can wipe Spain.

UK/Canada

Over the last few weeks Canada have decided to attack the UK again. With the new MPP rules it’s made it pretty easy for any country to attack anyone if they have the appropriate MPPs. Currently Canada has taken a couple of regions from the eUK but not the primary region London. This will be a war to watch over the next month or so to see if Canada will actually continue into the UK or not. :3

South East Aisa

This is sad day for Serbia. After months of being in Asia they were kicked out a few days ago by the USA. With the new MPP rules USA has been able to beat pretty much any country and with Serbia not having as much gold as they’d like to defend their Asian territory they were beaten out of the regions. This is a big blow to not just Serbia; but to Indonesia/Phoenix.

Finland/Estonia

This week Finland has attacked Estonia to try and get High grain mainly and also to wipe them. Finland was doing very well and nearly wiped them completely but Estonia has managed to comeback and now Finland only own 1 Estonian region.

My Summary is pretty bad in comparison to Keram10 and the UK’s Foreign Affairs team! Go look at this article on the updates of the week! It’s pretty awesome! (Tell him I sent you there)

Winner


The Winner this week is Russia. After being Loser for two articles in a row I am delighted to say I have some good news for Russia. A few weeks ago they managed to get back on the map after winning a Resistance war against the eUSA in “Far Eastern Russia”. However this was after congress elections so it left Russia with open citizenship. Because Russia is such an important country to Phoenix you can imagine EDEN tried very hard to PTO it during the Presidential elections; however they failed. Looking at the stats Russia gained 1280 citizens this week moving up 36 places to be 29th in the rankings. Russia still have a long way to go in regards to getting back all of their regions but they've made encouraging steps towards that in the last two weeks. Good luck Russia. 🙂

Loser




Unfortunately the loser this week is Spain. If you look at the map Spain is currently getting attack by both France and Brazil. A few weeks ago Spain attacked North of Brazil (One of Phoenix’s only High Iron regions at the moment) and successfully conquered it. However; Brazil have managed to turn the result around and they’re getting really close to Madrid and Asturias. Looking at the stats Spain has lost 3118 citizens in the last two weeks resulting in them moving down 3 places to be 9th on the list with a 27.85% contraction. Unlucky Spain and I wish you luck. :3

Other Notes

- Serbia is currently 4th?! I personally found this quite odd. O_o
- Only 5 countries have more than 10k citizens; 2 less than 2 weeks ago.
- The gap between 1st and 2nd is about 600. Could Brazil be #1 soon?
- Erepublik gained an a not so awesome 1640 citizens in the last two weeks. This is only a 0.84% growth. We’ll get to the 200k barrier eventually!
