Population Statistics 7th May - I'm back again.

Day 1,630, 13:18 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Kevy Kev Kev Junior shabado

Hello there eWorld. It’s been a while since I wrote one of these. I’m sorry for leaving you without a population statistics article in 9 months. I hope you enjoy this one though.

Before I start off I need to say that the data collected for this article is a bit dodgy. Since the admins refuse to fix the API (that’s what I’ve heard anyway; feel free to send them a ticket) I’ve come to accept that I won’t get any reliable data. The comparison used today are between the state of the world today (May 7th) and the information I have from August 7th. The data from August 7th includes Citizens living in their citizenship country and population of countries whereas the data from today seems to be a mix of the two. When I analyse things I’ll probably mention two figures one of which will compare the first set of august 7th data and the second will look at the other data. Enjoy

For new readers of my article

I have gathered the latest figures on the population. I try to post a new article every once in a while with stats identifying a best performer and worst performer.

One more note. If someone wants to use the images or just translate this whole article then you have my permission…however please put a link to track back to this original article.

Votes and Comments are always welcome. Subscribe if you’re new here! If you want to be really awesome you should shout this article out.

If you vote AND comment you get entered into a prize draw (details below)

If you don’t understand what I mean by Citizens + Population then check the first paragraph. I’m also going to avoid doing a whole overview of events that have happened in the last 9 months as I’d be typing forever. However, I’ve put together an image of what the world map looked like back then (including a zoom in for Europe).

Winner/Loser to be added later. I’ve already spent a lot of time collecting data and want to get this published ASAP.

These graphs show the data in the table above in a format easier for the eyes.

- 9 months ago only Romania was wiped off of the map. Today there are 13 countries out of the 70 in this game that are wiped.
- Albania wasn’t on the map when I last did an article. They now sit 18th with 4746 population. Nice job!
- Bulgaria now has the most citizens. Serbia has dropped to rank 2 but there isn’t much in it between the top few countries.
- Erepublik gained 9896 citizens apparently, although due to the calculation changes I have no idea if this is true. Even so, this is a 5.5% growth in 9 months which isn’t that great.

These links direct to other tables, each of these tables show the top 5 of each category. Figure 1 deals with figures of “population” (Amount of people in countries regions) and today’s figures. Figure 2 looks at the “citizen” figures (Amount of people with citizenship in citizen country) over today’s figures.
