Population Statistics 5th May. A lot can happen in a year.

Day 1,993, 05:34 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Kevy Kev Kev Junior shabado

Hello eRepublik. It’s been a while hasn’t it? Almost 1 year has passed since my last article. I apologise for leaving so suddenly, it’s just that these articles take a lot of time to write and I’ve been very busy as of late. I decided that since it had been a year it would be nice to compare the population levels of eRepublik once again. Data collection has been interesting.

For new readers of my article

I attempt to gather latest figures on the population. Every time I make an article I compare the last set of data with the newest set and identify the best and worst performers.

If someone wants to use the images or just translate this whole article then you have my permission…however please put a link to track back to this original article.

I’ve put together an image of what the world map looked like back then (including a zoom in for Europe).

These graphs show the data in the table above in a format easier for the eyes.

I’m going to keep it simple with winner and loser this time as my knowledge in game has depleted due to lack of interest. However, Argentina is the winner for this edition because of the amazing gains it has managed over the last year. They have gone from 9th Place with 9878 citizens to go on and claim 1st with 24691 citizens, over 8500 more than 2nd place Brazil. Congratulations Argentina!

On the other hand the loser for this article is Bulgaria, who have seen a massive contraction in citizens since my last article. Last year Bulgaria were 1st place with 16678 citizens, but over time this has been reduced to 6240 citizens, making them 13th place with a loss of 10438 citizens. This is a huge contraction of 62.5%, which is also the highest we have (Usually we see small countries get this award). So I'm sorry but Bulgaria you are the loser. I hope you can regain some of that population soon! 🙁

- Only 24 out of 70 countries gained citizens in the last year.
- Serbia and Spain are the only two countries to remain in the top 5
- Bulgaria, who were 1st last year are now 13th.
- There is an 8000 citizen different between 1st this year and last year.
- Austria gained 1 citizen in the last year! Congrats!
- 3 Countries – Spain, Montenegro and Denmark did not move in rank at all.

Just some quick statistics on the top 5 countries in terms of population and growth changes.

Congrats to Arfan-Khan for winning the last contest. Please contact me for your prize. I used a random number generator to get the result.
