2) Watch this for eUK Baby Boom! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsWW4mWzCnY

Hello. Welcome to another edition of eWorld Population Stats! I’d just like to state that due to myself being quite busy now I’m going to try and stick to an article every 2 weeks. Once I have more time I’ll try to do it weekly again.

I still do not have any graphics software. I shall hopefully have some by the next article. :3

Votes and Comments are always welcome. Subscribe if you’re new here! If you want to be really awesome you should shout this article out. 😃

For new readers of my article

I have gathered the latest figures on the population. The population shown below are from Sunday every two weeks. I will be posting a new article every other Sunday with updated stats and identifying a best performer and worst performer.

One more note. If Someone wants to use the images or just translate this whole article then you have my permission…however please put a link to track back to this original article. 😃

Summary of the last few weeks

There is a lot to cover since I haven’t done one of these in a few weeks. Bear with me. I’ll try to only talk about the bigger battles. :3

Russia
I’ll start off with probably the biggest piece of news over the last 2 weeks. Russia has been wiped off the map! After weeks/months of getting attacked they were finally beaten by a combination of Romania and Poland attacks in the western regions of the country. Many attempts have been made since they were wiped a few days ago to get them back on the map before congress elections but each Resistance war has been unsuccessful; however there have been a few images floating about that look a bit dodgy in the sense that Russia should have won battles. Not being on the map before congress elections is very worrying; this now means that anyone can get Russian Citizenship for the next month at least meaning they are open to PTO.

Turkey
A lot has happened with Turkey since 2 weeks ago. When I wrote my last article they were getting beaten by Greece because of the MPP changes; since then they have been wiped off of the map and brought back again. However; in the process Turkey managed to get a baby boom. I am not sure how they got it but I am heard that they got erepublik advertised on TV. This has led to Turkey getting thousands of new citizens and they currently stand in 3rd place in the rankings behind Poland and Serbia which is pretty impressive.

Macedonia
Like Turkey; Macedonia have also had a baby boom in the last few days. This is a positive sign for a country that is only a few weeks old. It is already in the top 10 for population and it continues we could see a new Poland/Serbia very soon.

Portugal
Another Phoenix Country under threat. With the new MPP rules Portugal was pretty much screwed; bordering USA and Spain they were easily wiped off the map as they had no MPPs. With congress elections tomorrow they will have open citizenship as they have no regions like Russia. As Portugal are a much smaller country there is a higher chance they will be PTO’d.

Lithuania
I didn’t mention this in my last article; I apologize. Lithuania managed to get back onto the map 2 weeks ago and now and I believe that they have all of their regions back after successful resistance wars. Congrats! \o/

Brazil
Another country; Another Baby Boom. Brazil recently started advertising for a new baby boom this week. Many of you know that when Brazil get baby booms; they get big baby booms. They have currently got a few thousand citizens so far but I can imagine that they will get a lot more over the next few days.

Slovenia
Another Phoenix country in trouble. With the new MPP rules they were wiped by Croatia. However; since then they have managed to get most of their regions back and should not be at threat of a PTO this month. 🙂

Winner

The winner this week is Turkey. Turkey is the winner this week because of the big turnaround that it managed to complete. When I last wrote Turkey was on the brink of being wiped off of the map; and not shortly after they were. However; they now have all of their regions back from Greece AND a big baby boom which has given them thousands of new citizens. Looking at the stats Turkey gained 13097 citizens since I last did an article two weeks ago. This has meant they have moved up 41 places to be 3rd in the rankings with an incredible 2593% growth rate! Congrats and I wish you luck with your baby boom. 🙂

Loser

I hate putting the same Country as Loser two articles in a row; but I really had no choice on this one. Russia is the loser this week as they were wiped off of the map by Poland/Romania and now are at threat of a PTO because they have open citizenship for the rest of the month. As stated above, many resistance wars were started to free Russia and avoid the open citizenship rule but none were successful. Looking at the stats Russia lost 4508 citizens moving down a massive 52 places to be rock bottom with 0 citizens. That's a 100% contraction obviously. Unlucky Russia and I hope you are back on the map soon. 🙂

Graphs

As you can see from this Graph the top 20 countries are shown. Using this Graph you can clearly identify where the biggest changes are.

Poland – Gained Russian Regions
Turkey – Baby Boom
Romania – Gained Russian Regions
Brazil – Baby Boom
Macedonia – Baby Boom

Lithuania – Gained some more of its original regions back
Finland – Lost a few regions including Scotland.

India – Lost all but 1 region
Portugal – Lost all regions
Russia – Lost all regions

Other Notes

- We have a new number 1! Poland has regained the title after conquering Russia!
- 2 weeks ago only 3 countries had more than 10k citizens; now 7 countries do. They’re growing fast!
- Erepublik gained an incredible 30273 citizens in the last two weeks. This is a big change in trend from the last few months when we've seen massive losses week in and out. This week we had a 18.39% growth and are nearly at the 200k citizen mark. 😃

If you want to see information on Active citizens of the eWorld then I suggest reading dSoKre’s paper. He does some great articles (as evident being the #1 most subscribed paper in the eWorld)
