Population Statistics 18th April

Day 880, 05:12 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Kevy Kev Kev Junior shabado

Hello. Welcome to another week of eWorld Population Stats!

For new readers of my article
I have used this website to get accurate stats. The population shown below are from the server reset time on Sunday each week. I will be posting a new article every Sunday with updated stats and identifying a best performer and worst performer.

Many things such as wars, resistances and region swaps affect these stats above.

Winner

The best performing country this week is South Africa. A few months ago South Africa were PTO'd by a group from 7chan. This really gave the country a setback and their president used the open wars to retreat all of their regions to Brazil and Argentina. South Africa have vital high diamond regions which will be important in Version 2 because Diamonds will become Titanium which will be used for weapons. South Africa managed to get back all but one of their regions which helped them climb 21 places in the ranks and gain 2042 citizens which is a growth of 295.94%. The only problem I see with this figure is that it includes Brazilians that have not moved out yet and also potential PTOers.

Loser

The worst performing country this week is unfortunately Australia. I intentionally decided to leave out the Western Australia battle last week since it finished after the server reset on Sunday but now it has the result has been confirmed I can talk about it. The Western Australia was a huge battle consisting of Indonesia + MPPs vs Australia and MPPS. It is considered to be the biggest battle in Erepublik and it had high importance considering that region contained the much desired High Diamonds which will be very beneficial in Version 2. As Australia lost this battle they managed to lose a big chunk of citizens. This week Australia lost 2029 citizens dropping 5 ranks and having a growth of -35.21%. How many of these are people who have rage quit is still unknown.

Graphs (Click the Graphs to see them at a bigger size!)
I decided to make some graphs so that viewing the stats was easier. The blue line is last week and the red line is this week.

As you can see from this graph the top 20 countries are shown. Using this graph you can clearly identify where the biggest changes are. Significant blips are explained briefly below:
- Poland - Lost a lot of citizens due to inactive baby boomers
- Brazil - Same as Poland.
- Greece - Baby boom
- France - Gained 900+ citizens in last 24 hours, possible start to a baby boom.

There are a few more bumps on this graph but only two are significant. These are our best and worst performing countries this week with Australia's change resulting from a loss of Western Australia + rage quits whilst South Africa is the result of getting their regions back.

The only blip of significance from this graph is of Belgium. There is a change of about 300+ citizens which is a big difference considering they were only at 650 Citizens last week (over a 50% change). I feel as if this could be a potential PTO being set up prior to the Congress elections but only time will tell. I hope I'm wrong and it is a mini baby boom.

Other notes

- Big Congrats to the Countries that gained over 2000 Citizens this week. These are South Africa, France and Indonesia. Congrats to Greece who gained over 1000.

- Greece; who I mentioned in the point above are continuing their good numbers and have moved up two places into 10th on the list and hit the 10,000 citizen mark.

- Brazil continue their fall this week losing 2179 Citizens moving down 2 places to 6th.

- France's figures this week suggest a baby boom. They have gained 900+ new citizens in the last 24 hours.

- Overall this week the new world lost 2586 Citizens with a growth of -0.70%. This figure looks a lot better than last week and soon we should see an increase of players overall again.
