Hello. Welcome to another edition of eWorld Population Stats! This week we saw the attention move towards eastern Europe with a few major battles. Forget Asia for a second. This is where it's at this week! 😃

Important announcement at the bottom of the article

For new readers of my article

I have gathered the latest figures on the population. The population shown below are from Sunday each week. I will be posting a new article every Sunday with updated stats and identifying a best performer and worst performer.

One more note. If Someone wants to use the images or just translate this whole article then you have my permission…however please put a link back to this original article. 😃

Summary of the week

I’ll start off with a big battle that kicked off early last week. Slavonia was attacked by Croatia during the early hours of the morning. This region was held by Serbia; who took it from Croatia during the attack on Croatia near the end of Version 1. This battle didn’t yield the same “epicness” as the last time as not as many people turned up to fight. It was still a big battle but lacked the masses of citizens that Version 1 battlefields had. The battle was eventually won by Croatia with the help of the USA who were in their prime time when the battle ended. This result caused a bit of an unhappy response by Serbia; who were a bit angry at their allies for not showing up to help them defend.

Another battle this week was between Bosnia and Serbia/Bulgaria. A few weeks ago Serbia used a PTO’d Bosnia to swap Bulgaria into Bosnia so that Bulgaria could get that much wanted High grain region. Bosnia was eventually wiped off of the map to make it more difficult for someone to take back their regions. EDEN decided to help its alliance member by starting a series of Resistance wars to try and get some of its regions back. The resistance wars were somewhat successful with Bosnia getting a few regions back and also taking the high grain from Bulgaria. As with Serbia; Bulgaria were unhappy that their allies hadn't turned up to defend.

In other news last night Poland swapped into Inner Mongolia to border Serbia and then attack Czech Republic to gain a free war with Serbia. Poland then retreated Inner Mongolia back to North Korea so that they can sneak attack Liaoning whenever they want. It looks as if EDEN are trying to get USA to border Liaoning as well.

Canada attacked Wales. This time Canada attacked at 11pm UK time instead of 4am. This meant that the region was secured because the eUK population was online. Speaking of the eUK a few resistance wars have been started from the land bridge across France. These resistance wars are planned so that they can give back France’s regions.

Winner

The Winner this week is Bosnia. As I’ve stated above Bosnia came from being wiped off the map for a while to taking back most of its regions. This country has always been a threat to PTOs so getting it back on the map before congress elections is a good sign. Bosnia also now doesn’t have an open war with anyone so they will be safe from being invaded for some time unless Serbia/Bulgaria gain a free open war which is quite unlikely. Looking at the stats Bosnia gained 1150 citizens moving up 29 places to be 29th. They also had a growth rate of 497.84%. Most of the citizens they gained were in the high grain region. I'd imagine that some of them are Bulgarians stuck there though. Congratulations Bosnia for being the winner this week. 🙂

Loser

The Loser this week is unfortunately Bulgaria. For the same reason that Bosnia is the winner this week Bulgaria is the loser. Bulgaria lost it’s new high grain region to Bosnia along with a few smaller regions that were not as important. It is estimated by some that the costs of swapping Bulgaria over cost them 2500g. This is a huge investment that was ultimately wasted. Looking at the stats Bulgaria lost 1181 citizens moving down 1 place to be 19th. They also had a contraction of -29.11%. Unlucky Bulgaria and hopefully you'll get a high grain region again soon. 🙂

Graphs

As you can see from this graph the top 20 countries are shown. Using this graph you can clearly identify where the biggest changes are.

Serbia – Lost Slavonia
Poland – Dead Babies
Bulgaria – Lost regions to Bosnia

Bosnia – Gained back regions from Bulgaria
Singapore – Bots deleted

Pakistan – Gained regions from India/Serbia
Norway – Gained regions from Finland

Other Notes

- The gap between the top two is just over 3000. The gap is widening.
- Some of Singapore’s bots were deleted. This is why they have lost over 1000 citizens. The only other countries to lose over 1000 were Poland and Bulgaria
- Bosnia were the only country to gain over 1000 citizens. Congrats!
- Last week we lost 33,000 citizens. This week; just over 10,000. We’re improving but having a contraction of 5% is still pretty poor. We now have 187k citizens in the new world when at one point we had nearly double that figure.

Check out this article for active citizens of the eWorld. it's based on who voted in the presidential elections. It's an interesting read. 🙂 http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/1512757/1/20

Important Announcement

Due to real life issues next week will be my last population statistics article on the weekly basis schedule. I’m going to be quite busy and I have no idea how much time I’ll have to dedicate to things like this. Once I know how much time I have I’ll try to re-establish a schedule for this article series though; but it probably won’t be once a week; it’ll probably be once every two weeks or something.

I am currently trying to win a NNA Award. The Judges will be reading eUK media daily and will read this article too; but if you could perhaps message them on this org and link this paper then that’d be awesome. I notice a lot of you comment weekly on this article and I’d consider it a gift to me if you could help me win a eUK government award. :3

As always be sure to Vote, Comment and Subscribe to this newspaper! A comment will give you a chance to win a Prize next week! If you're really cool you'd shout this newspaper out so I get more votes and comments!
