I have a friend who plays this game. My friend isn't involved in politics, he isn't outspoken, he barely does anything but 2-click. The "Meta-Game" has never been a necessity for him. We have 300 citizens in eSA, we'll say 150 are 2-clickers. What do these people want? I know my friend told me recently that he's
"So excited that South Africa is involved in fighting. Real fighting."
Real fighting. I love it.
I don't care who the President is, but the citizens, (I'm not talking about the 20 who are on the forums weekly) I'm talking about the average 2-clickers who vote, want to fight.
So far I've seen no CP candidates announced, but I hope we continue to fight against Brazil. My friend told me: "I don't know what the hell is going on, but I feel like eSouth Africa is Important for a change."
This made me smile, because that's how I feel. eSouth Africa is FAR more important than anyone gives us credit for. We are resilient, we are strong and we will not be taken advantage of.
TWO months ago, we wanted to have a Training War with Uruguay. The few Brazilians who actually care about us wanted to help. But the Military Unit CAT (Brazil) said that they need their 10/10 bonus, so they don't care what WE want.
Two months later, Brazil is sitting with ZERO bonuses.
They wanted to play dirty, so we showed them that we can persistently fight.
I've always been Proud to be an eSouth African, but now, we are an integral part of bringing down oppressing countries. I've never been MORE proud of our Country.

Have you even seen Brazil's damage? It was dismal at best. Their damage was only that low when they returned regions to us. If they were really fighting us, we would not have stood a chance. There were time when I went to war, 50+ min into the fight and all Brazil could 'muster' was 600 000 damage? In div 3? Yeah right... We won our regions fair and square... Brazil could have made it less obvious though.
One thing I will agree with is the eSA fights. It was great to see all of us fight together like that on the field.
Is it your next eccuse? "We did nothing, Brazil didn't fight."
That's true, we are the only people that Brazil is fighting.... Brazil wasn't fighting because there are multiple wars open. Strategy is the key factor in fighting Brazil. It's why we made allies and why we coordinate with other surrounding regions.
Also, we all know how AWESOME Brazil is at controlling their army... They've never so easily given a region away when they are fighting for US.
Maybe you should move to Brazil so you can live under Brazilian government oppression again.

Perhaps at the start of the war, but Indonesia are a little preoccupied with Aus, UK, and helping actual CoT members. Remember that Brazil is officially neutral... but I see them teaming up with USA again when the latter leave CoT. I have already told Aus that we will sack Sydney if they fail us again 😉

These weeks have been worth more than the previous two years of Erepping.
I don't agree with those who say Brazil were all bad for us, the treaty was designed to allow us to survive and it served its purpose for quite a while. But for a long time now the treaty has been a silent killer.
These times are fun. Yeah, we have always been telling ourselves that we have a to small army to do anything. Yeah, we have trouble in a head on fight country vs country. But if bigger army defeats smaller army just based of numbers a lot of wars would make no sense. Here we have teamed up and used tactics as we should. Take into account time of day, spread the enemies defenses.
And yeah, we will probably be bulldozed by some large country sooner or later, but as Rico said these two last weeks have been worth more then the last two years of erep.
Combat Orders have opened up new defence options for us in game where we often failed on IRC. We just need to figure out how to keep the spice flowing.
I see ppl talking about jubilation but the game has just begun. We are about to lose the NE battle and then be prepared for Brazil-Indo move. They'll come when they secure the Colombia battles. I'll be waiting here to see all those ppl in the near future.
I'll be ready to fight then! Win or lose. As Jizzie's profile says. There's honor in defeat.
