Political Watch: new fresh start for TNT
Wisdom
Reported by The Thai Gazette
- Bangkok and Manaus- The eThai political landscape is entering a new era as the long-dominant TNT party is experiencing a drastic change, with nearly all the familiar faces leaving and power shifting to an ambitious but somewhat naive figure who has no connection to the party past.
The TNT party has been severely affected by the mass migration of its Portuguese-speaking core members and affiliated Nobelis allies to eBrazil. The Partido Nacionalista of the North Region is now filled with various former eThai citizens from the TNT and Nobelis, 12 of whom left their eThai congress term incomplete.
"Even knowing that we caused much more good things than bad things to the country, people would no longer trust us, we had to regain their confidence, but once you lose someones' confidence, it's hard to earn it back again, so our party president decided to leave the country for now, and since TNT is a united party, we decided to leave as well, even those who had nothing to do with the hospital scandal left," explained TNT member Maximus Mortis, who himself is planning to leave the eThai congress as well.
With its core of power gone, questions arise of how the party will or can hold to its prominent position in the country. Antonio Salgado had designated Eiji and John Hancock as respective successors to his leader post, but both of them have left to the eBrazilian region already.
But then, there is the determined Defenestration who is campaigning hard to become a party president despite being oblivious to the TNT structure. He is not even aware of outerspace.com, the mirror, if not the main, site of the TNT core members, while his current policy platform is mostly for the country president position, rather than the party leader one.
However, with no linkage to the past, Defenestration may be exactly what the party needs for a new, fresh start that is free from its tainted past. Antonio seems to sense this as he was the first to voice his support for Defenestration.
"My vision is one where I am elected party president, and then start to put together a group of ambitious party-members that can form a 'cabinet' and get us all working well together," said Defenestration, already dreaming of leading a new clique into power.
Defenestration at least will be able to realize the first part of his ambition, which is to become the leader of post-exodus TNT, as he seems to have an uncontested race in the upcoming party election.
The Thai Gazette is a quality newspaper dedicated to covering political and economic news of eThailand. It does not claim to be neutral, but it will certainly try to be as much objective as possible.

Well if they ever wanted to earn our trust, they sure arent doing a good job of it by bailing on Thailand during their congressional terms.
Way to take the 5 gold and run.
JR, we all gave our gold, remember? 😁
So you say. Whatever. Doesnt matter at this point. Everyone can see that your party isnt really about putting Thailand first now. Have fun in Brazil.
for me also really dont matter what you say also.
if thailand need something just request, we are going to sell all companies, we´ve decided t ostay in Brazil and help there. and in eBrasil forum we dont have dictatorsor censorship 😁
Yeah, keep telling yourself that. You're a quitter and a liar. All that talk of Thailand first, blah, blah, blah.
We dont need anything from you...personally Id rather you simply stay out of our media now that you have shown you have no allegiance to our nation. We'll take care of Thailand, you worry about your band of misfits in Brazil. Thanks.
I care about eThailand, and i will be here back in the future, hope in a better country then i´ve left behind.
I have freedom to come here whenever i want Jack, i know that you have dictator traces and actions( such as ban people that dont agree with you from the eThai forum... and also delete the topic where you did it).
I wish good luck to Guy and hope that YOU never come back to the power in the country, i want to come back to a develop and good eThailand, not a "destroyed" country. 😁
Hahaha...good one. You're a joke.
Dictators? Oh Man! Sounds bad, I was also banned from bay12 where Ealb resides, because of my comments of disagreement. People in eThai just don't like people leaving their small country lol
Me?
I am not the former marine with the brain of a child 😁
Or the kind of person that PM others like: "hahah i am going to put Guy to run against you because i dont like you."
Seriously Jack, i think that you were kidnaped and replaced. 😁
Jack I heard from some sources that during your presidency you tried to team up with TNT to screw LCP and at the same time you told us of TRP that you wanted to screw with Rockman
You Two Face---ARGHH!
I wish all the best to Defenestration in his leadership of the TNT. The next few weeks will prove to be interesting for all of Thailand, especially should the mass exodus continue.
Antonio, when I joined eThailand I looked up to you; but with the current poor form showed her arguing in nature such as this over words (which you would have recieved much harsher if you eer became president). In a way I'm glad that you've gone and people can see this side of you as it is better to know and see the man as a whole, I'm just afraid that you've scared and upset way too many people with this side and is in no way flatering or mature of you.
None of us can say what goes on in PMs between you and other people however leaving eThailand, joining eBrazil and then slandering a few people through our media because you can.. VERY poor form politically and socially.
Despite his lack of knowledge, Defenestration has shown a true willingness to stand up and be counted and put what he thinks forward instead of worrying about personal opinions or insults. I wish him the best of luck.
i didnt get it Adst, i am supporting defenastration, he also PMed me for advices, i just replyed to Mr Jr comments, nothing more nothing less.
and Adst, to show the true dictatorial and child face of jack Roberts let me show to you what he did with my account in eThai forum( and also with other one):
Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

like i already say, this guy dont have control to administrate the forum of eThailand, i´ve never brake a single rule of that forum, i always tryed to help, and i was planning to continue posting there, maybe helping the CRD and also exporting gifts to you guys, but mr JR just because he dont like me, he blocked me of eThailand forum, without a reason!
First of: I can handle being called naïve, it might be true after allt, but I think that it also makes it possible for me to seek new solutions without preconditions. And I hope that people will accept and like the solutions I hope to bring.
Thank you Wisdom for a good article, and thank you for your support Antonio Salgado, Adst, and Albert Neurath.
//Defenestration
Don't get me wrong Antonio; but you left eThailand, you dropped your party and you dropped your race for president. All the people that had supported or looked up to you in that moment saw you leave everything and walk away (taking some key members of the community with you). You've got to do what you've got to do.. but do it when people aren't relying or supporting you; do it when there is nothing that matters.
I'm glad you care about eThailand but you walked away from it to support it from afar. You had the perfect chance and place to play akey role in eThailand and you dropped it for another country, people will react to you a different way because of that.
adst, i went to brazil alone and then the guys decided to follow me and convinced me to stay with them for a while in eBrazil.
people dont react me a different way, just Jack Roberts, a guy that just like me left the country for chill out a little and came back and was still giving opinions and he was out without receiving "dont mess with my terrain" answers.... 😁
@ Antonio, don´t you even start comparing to Jack Roberts, man. Both in forms, in content and in actions. He transformed the political arena of Thailand. You... lost an election and left another.
The difference between you both is the difference between night and day.
I don´t know anything about your forum flames, but ingame attitudes speak for themselves as long as I am concerned.
About TNT, best of luck, defenestration. But it is an internationally known bad joke of a party.
Voted. Good article.
@Splash_OS: You have made clear what kind of players you are.
Thank you, that was very illustrative.
Ah, and thank you for the last line. Believe me, we will 😉
Actually yeah, I did block Antonio from our national forums, and removed his status as moderator for TNT.
#1 He's not a citizen of Thailand...if he moves back I will reinstate his membership.
#2 He's proven to be a disruptive force in our media.
My leaving Thailand for a few weeks in no way, shape, or form like you.
I still had my weapons company and had Thai citizens in my employ. You are selling off all your Thai assets. You said you are staying in eBrazil...and I had no intention of staying anywhere...I went overseas to fight in a few battles to get some experience.
I didnt bail on Thailand mid-term, I fulfilled my duty as President and then stepped aside.
Try to compare us or bad mouth me all you want. My actions and history of actually making Thailand a better place are much more evident than your brief month of "acting nice".
Kalennes, don't generalize people please, Splash always makes stupid comments, he is the least sane of the TNT bunch.
it is not tp to you the decision to block or unblock people from ethai forum jack roberts, you are nothing here, just a congressman and former president, but for me it is ok, i will continue reading the media and giving my opinion where i think i can help.
and i dont want, or need to compare us or bad mouth you, i always had respect for your person, but some thing that you´ve ate changed your behaviour, so for me it is ok. play "nice". 😁
I apologize for the long and rambling post
And I apologize for the grammatical errors. It is hard typing with a migraine 😛
nice post Guy *insert thumbs up here*
(By Admin I mean the remote board and not an Admin in eRepublik.)
@Rody:
>Dictators? Oh Man! Sounds bad, I was also banned from bay12
>where Ealb resides, because of my comments of disagreement.
Um. Just to set the record straight, you were banned by the site owner/moderator after being reported for having taken to aggressive, unrepentant trolling. ToS violations, ya know? I believe what you'd posted at that point plainly qualified as "abusive, vulgar, [... and] harassing". Since you'd only signed up at the forum to participate in that one off-topic eRepublik thread, the admin decided the simplest recourse was to ban you. It had nothing whatever to do with the content of what you were saying, except perhaps in that there was none.
Thank you Guy, for talking nicely towards me, unlike some other people in here!
How can you expect people to act politely towards you flame, blantantly break the rules and rig elections, make comments about how Thailand should belong to Brazil... you don't even live here anymore. Please go away.
I'm happy for one that Defenstration looks like the next leader of TNT. He speaks good English, has a plan that makes sense (not that I agree with all of it, but at least it makes sense), and has no ties to corruption or trolling. Hopefully TNT can become a respected party and the Rockman era a thing of the past , but it's still somewhat worrying that only about five TNT members ever make or comment on articles.
And if Defenstration wins presidency of the TNT, I'll make him a moderator of that section in the eThai forum.
of course jack, that is right, what is not right is you banning users that disagree with you and that you dont like.
@Antionio: Regarding the off site board banning. While not an official stance, at the same time, I know of no nations that allow total open access to their sites. You need to be at least a citizen of that nation. I am sure there are some that might do it, but most require some kind of registration and approval to even speak.
I mean if anyone could roll in, how would an government adminstration know if the concern posted is one of an actual citizen or someone simply living abroad and just saying stuff. I want to represent people that actually live here.
I appreciate talking to you, but you left. This is a huge change and that means relationships are going to be different.
All the best to all our e😜ats.
I didnt ban users who disagreed with me. That's a complete lie. I did a 24 hour ban on niceguy and myself for acting like tools and arguing back and forth instead of discussing the topic at hand.
I also deleted the topic because it was severely derailed and not even really on point anymore. All the posts were either supporting niceguy's argument towards me or the other way around.
I dont expect you to like it Antonio, as you have stated you dont like me...but it really doesnt matter at this point. You're in your country and Im still here in Thailand working to improve it. Again, Id prefer you stay that way instead of attempting to disrupt our work here. You continuing on in this fashion does nothing to improve our situation and your actions here prove that you just want to rehash old grudges...hence the removal from the eThai forum.
Regardless, Im done with this back and forth with you. Ive got more important things to focus on here in Thailand.
i´ve stated that you dont like me.
and as i said, i wanted access to ethai forum to continue help and giving advices, but i think that you arent mature enough to work with people that( i will say it one more time) you dont like or that disagree with you.
I really Hope you improve eThailand JR, not you, but all citizens, good luck for you all, hope to see positive results in a near future.
@Lorenzo: You painted with a broad brush in those words, one I never did to people in TNT. I hope you could heed what I wrote and my beliefs.
I always felt that this was a key problem with the paradigm how some people thought in Thailand. Everything must be run unopposed, opposition is a good thing. I hope you all didn't choose to simply run from that, but are looking for more of a game play experience.
You are a good man Guy, the things I said weren't directed to you mate. Just to many others who didn't look for the "common-good", but just for their own-good.
You know how many they are...
well.
time to vanish
