Political Takeovers != Fun

Normally, I would list out all of the battles and land swaps that are occurring, and give a report on the massive scale war that has broken out in the world following the conclusion of the presidential elections yesterday....
Honestly, I can't even bring myself to care anymore. The attack-retreat loopholes in the war module have completely ruined any hope for countries smaller than the most major of powers, and are making what should be epic battles in to opportunistic territorial land grabs. I guess what I'm trying to say is that political takeovers have caused eRep to lose that 'war strategy' feeling and I'm beginning to question why I play anymore.
I have a feeling I'm not the only person that feels this way... I hope this most recent wave of crazy causes the admins to turn their blind eyes to the problem lest they start seeing an exodus of the core players which make what is otherwise a very simple browser game into a vibrant community.

I agree completely with you.
Political takeovers have long been something that I can't stand. The admins need to do something to prevent them from happening anymore. If they don't then they can forget about small countries because nobody in those countries is going to want to stick with the game.
TO's and Retreats are one of the main game killers...as you said it's impossible for a small country or a young one to have any chances.....but who do you think cares...i mean someone who can do something about it....no one
Although there is a rumor that the retreat button will have in the near, or not so near, future a big revamping. Not sure if it will be enough though
