The Alliance between Hungary and Poland
Critiquing the new President--the first 24 hours

It is clear now. And public. Poland and Hungary are now in an alliance. This is earth shaking, to saw the least. Many Americans are upset at this change to the status quo. I asked someone in the military what they thought, and they replied immediately, "F*ck Poland."

To try and see if this was a unanimous opinion, I asked another random American their opinion. They replie😛 "Poland is retarded. I think an alliance with an enemy of ours without any consultation is reason enough to be mad at them."

I know some Americans are excited at the mix up. One American I polled sai😛 "Down with EDEN. Hail PANAM!" This indeed reflects some excitement older people feel at the mix up in international relations. For old people like some of us, it's nice to see something unpredictable. This also shows that not all Americans are upset. Perhaps a continuing relationship with Poland will be possible.

I myself see a trend of most Americans thinking that this is a dumb decision for Poland. One thing is for sure, if Americans are this mad, Croatia and Romania must be pissed beyond belief. It would be interesting to see what the consequences are for Poland. Will they also ally with Serbia? Russia? Or will other former Phoenix members be unwilling to accept them? Only time will tell how accepting Phoenix will be. EDEN has hailed them Junior, v2.

It will also be fun to see if EDEN invaded Poland. Perhaps they will make a pact with the devil, and invade with Russia. Or maybe EDEN will just implode. I am frankly surprised EDEN is still alive and well.

Well, it would be unfair to critique the President's policies at such an early date. This I am aware of. However, one period of time that never gets a solid amount of coverage is the first day or so. Many assume, you just don't do anything. Having been on the inside, the first few days are crucial in setting up how the rest of the month will go.

What happens exactly? Mainly, organization. The President himself, is really just the head honcho. He directs people and keeps them in line. So, if he surrounds himself with capable men, he will succeed. If he keeps them on task, he will succeed. On these accounts, it appears that Haliman has done alright. I have seen his cabinet rushing to and fro, trying to get organized. Since I do not have access to the President's Daily Briefings, I cannot say how efficient this administration is. Yesterday a WHPR was released, the SoS published an article, and the president did as well. As far as I can gauge, he is doing well so far.

Of course, he is also a figure head. This means he has to publish articles constantly, and often. And well. On this mark, I am sorely disappointed. I read the Presidents article, and found myself thinking, this is a President's article? I was saddened. I hope to see better articles in the days ahead. All in all, I'd give Haliman an A- for his first few hours. The minus is to show there can always be improvement. 😛
