It is with great dismay that on day 2922 our elected leader Klop123 and his constituency have completed the disembowelment of a once proud nation and with that have set in motion a great unrest.

We have gone from a respectable rebel squadron who never say die to a simulated training exercise for one of our greatest enemies. At some point our elected officials were of the belief that eItaly has our best interests in mind. That somehow the eItalian occupiers would give us a deal that would someday allow us to rise up and retake our country from them.

What we now face is our greatest battle to date. Ourselves. Can you find pride and glory in being a stepping stone for the enemy? If you're anything like me the last thing I'll ever do is lay down for anyone!

That being said if the leaders of this once proud nation are happy to just survive while terrorist occupiers regularly dictate what happens in our nation then it is for the best that we not lay with these fools and accept the fate they have chosen for us.

It is in our best interest to rise up and if eCanada will be the worlds patsy then I do not wish to be a part of this sinking ship therefore if I must I will renounce my citizenship and join a nation that has heart and soul and the will to not only survive but thrive in the face of adversity.

I would rather see the strong and proud disperse than to see us become puppets to the Albanians and Italians. STAND UP and rebel against this agreement or BEND OVER and accept your dictator. It's your call Canada.

Klop has done more to help this country then anyone else around here.

Instead of sitting around criticising how about getting off you arse and helping?

I'd rather lose the country fighting then hand it over. If you're fine with it stay here. Not everyone will agree but good luck doing something about it in "training wars"

Please don't criticise people just for being "inexperienced". Even though players who joined this week have the right to publish their opinion.

If you don't agree, don't point the lack of experience, better just describe your view contentwise. He helps eCanada as he can, we need new ppl here. Respect them, or we will loose them.

Interesting statement. What exactly is being dictated to us? We are free to decline a renewal of the deal at the start of the month, we can sign MPPs with whoever we want, we have free regions & they are returning taxes plus rent.

I've found if you CTRL+F5 on your erased newspaper article, it will allow you to publish your newly typed-out masterpiece.

As a back-up, I've learned to always copy and paste before hitting the publish button... just in case 😕

i actually write my articles in notepad and only go to publish them in erep when I've polished it off. far to many times have i timed out etc. ugh.

Look at the map and you will see there are two nations occupying us and clearly sometimes strategy is not that obvious but it is actually working.

Many new players feel an emotional attachment to the regions because they are named after RL places they care about. That seldom pans out well as a strategy. Erepublik is an unending World War. It's all about compromises.
Attach yourself to the community and you may accomplish a lot.
Attach yourself to the regions and be habitually defeated by enemys' long term strategies.

That's why the addition of the fantasy island of Ireland to eRepublik was such a smart move by Plato. This way we can always attack that magical fortress of leprechauns, steal their pots of gold and no one gets offended.
