Here's a possibly unpopular opinion:
There is NOTHING Plato can give that would qualify as "fair compensation".
The battles will NOT be redone, the server will NOT be rolled back.
That was a policy set a loooooong time ago.
The game FEATURE*** that affected the Serbia-Chile (beyond epic) battle happened.
He could give us each 50-100-200-2000 Energy Bars, but that would not give us back the FUN that battle was.
Or change it's outcome.
And for me that was the most fun battle in ... AGES.
A 24 hour raging, epic battle.
Like the battles that used to happen before, CO, unlimited tanking and other "enhancements".
So at this point in time, this is how i see Plato's Compensation(s):
*There are no bugs in eRepublik, only undiscovered features.
** Some people speculate that it was a combination of:
- The UNBELIEVABLE number of of players hitting there
- THe troll CO's that were set.
For each HIT each player made, the server checked EACH CO.
And it began CRASHING differently for each side, depending on the amount of troll CO's.
*** Some other speculate that the Chileans knew / noticed this and thus started spamming troll CO's.
Whether they did or not is at this point IRELEVANT.
If that is indeed the cause of the server failure, i am NOT pissed at eRepublik or Plato.
I am pissed at the people that observed and EXPLOITED that bug and spoiled my FUN.
Win or lose.

If it was a bug and some people exploited, than Plato needs to take actions against them as per his own rules.

on the round before last i checked the co board on d2 .And there was no troll co's from Chile ,.only Serbian mu's give 200-300cc/mil if the wall is 40 percent..Im mad becuz its not Chile's fault ,that the servers are from the stone age..When Greece beat Macedonia that way there was so much trolling from Greece and Asteria .....But thats not the point .The point is that Greece/MKD and Serbia/Chile have the equal chance to win .But fucken Plate and cie screwed that chance ,screwed the fairplay ,and now we blame each other for the bugs , but infact we don't have fault ,bout the bugs
There are no bugs in eRepublik, only undiscovered features.
Tell us the secret of that features if you know them, so we can exploit them as bug are not going to end soon xD

they've changed the outcome, chile surprisingly won because we couldn't fight on serbia side this cannot be compensated 🙁
So you think that we could fight against Serbia ? .I hit 20 milions on d2 on the first minute of the round .For the next 1+ hour I couldn't fight too...
I didn't fight for chile bro, by the way the wall at d4 was on serbia side when we couldn't fight aftar that and wall changed to chile side
There were certain people from each side that COULD hit .But most of the players like you and me ,just look like fucken idiots ... 😃

Macedonia experienced the same server down in the first epic battle of this tournament and there was no CO trolling just servers down people could not enter the battle and fight and just watched the wall going from Macedonia to Greece side and counted down till the round was over...
my fun and expectations from this tournament ended back then in the beginning of the tournament - first epic round on the tournament watching Macedonia losing to Greece with out being able to fight for more than 30 min.
so CO is not the case... nor its Chile
The first day of this tournament was PLAGUED with errors in all battles, not just the eic ones.
maybe... but that specific battle for Macedonia was important to have a chance for Congress and my (our - Macedonians) fun and motivation to fight on this tournament was over even before it started...
there for we were the first to experience the biter taste of the admins incompetence to organize a good tournament... the rest of the e-world did that with 5-6 days delay later 😉

Its not a bug, they are testing new feature, only credit card owners can use fight button 🙂
