Plato & CHs

Good night fellow friends, soldiers, companions, and other eRepublikans that I haven't had the chance to meet.

Today I bring you an article mainly about my thoughts, about some few changes in this game, I'll also be bragging a bit about my new achievement, and to give you some tips and tricks.

CH
So first of all:

I don't know if you already noticed, but I've recently won a so-desired Campaign Hero medal. (For the ones who don't know yet, a CH is a medal awarded when you do the biggest amount of damage for one of the sides. It's like a BH, but from ALL the rounds.)

About the CH, I would like to start by publicly apologize to Ace Veles, who would have won the CH if I hadn't did it...

2n😛 I started playing this game when you had NO divisions, and a small, normal guy like me had to fight side-by-side with those giant tanks like Romper or whatever. And just a small BH was a huge dream, and an almost impossible thing to accomplish... Then, Plato made us the favor of evening the odds and the system, creating Divisions. And suddenly guys like me could, with a slight more ease, get BHs. Even though everyone says bad things about rocket factories, the truth is they can be very handy in the first divisions. Great amount of damage for no Exp at all... Some nice sh1t.

And then, came chaos! Smart players started developing other playing strategies. You can see guys like Angel with Attitude or BeSt TrAdEr EvEr with loads of strength and almost no exp.! BH hunters like no one! (And some of my idols)...
To add to those HUGE TANKERS Plato send out some huge missions and some huge rewards.
Afterwards, I suddenly noticed the MDW mushrooming in my inventory!! When they stopped growing I had 16 small bombs, worth 6M, and 7 big bombs, worth 35M. I thanked Plato for the power he gave me, and swore that I would use it to the common good! Just screwing up some battles and win some medals

But I ALSO thought that with 41M, plus some energy bars I could do some massive damage and maybe a CH!
Well, it happened that I was wandering about the campaigns page, when I noticed a War in Argentina where 1 side already had 77 points! D4 was winning, and so did D3! Well, I made some simple maths and analyzed some scenarios... D4 would certainly win, so 82 points for Argentina! 😃 You know where I'm getting right?? The current CH was by Ace Veles that had almost 42M done. I prayed a bit to my all-mighty Plato God, and dropped some FFs and Energy Bars... Around 3M. Just enough to have, both the round secure and the margin for my 41M (41M + 3M overcomes 42M). And it happens! D4 wins, and the CH is set at 42M! Well, I browsed D3, and there where only some little guys hitting, with something like 1M dealt. I just had to drop my MDW and that is what I did. I still have 6 small bombs xD.

So, I'm done with the bragging.
Now my thoughts: WTF just happened in eRepublik that a random dude, non-VISA player can have a CH??? Dunno... Perhaps you could comment your own opinion.

Also, am I the first guy in D2 to have a CH?? If you know some D2/D1 with a CH just PM me or comment!

And now the tips 😃

This is mainly for D1 and D2, since in D4 are all the tankers, and I've never been in D3, and I don't know how it is there.

IF YOU'RE NOT AN ACTIVE PLAYER, OR YOU'RE NOT PATIENT, JUST VOTE, SUB, SHOUT AND GO AWAY! THIS IS NOT FOR YOU
1. It is worth the cost in gold to have a rocket factory, if you do what I say like I say!
2. It is important to note that the number of what we call "BH Hunters" is increasing everyday.
3. Be patient, and accept the fact that you'll not win every day! Losing a BH can happen.

Now the juicy part... Since this is what makes me survive here I'll just tell you very ROUGHLY what to do 😛 You can improve it or adapt it to your game-style.

4. Build your rockets. Now you can be the good-kind of guy that secures the BH from the beginning, or the one that takes advantage of whatever you can use for you:

The good guys just do your stuff.
The naughty guys do something like this: Browse for a low-damage BH in a battle close to the end! I just ignore any battle that is more than 20 minutes away from ending. Resistance Wars usually have much less damage then the normal battles. Also, it is usually wise to go for the BH in the side that is winning, if the wall is around 50-57%, since the damage of your rockets could turn it around and make the battle long enough for someone else to overcome you.

And when you think the time is right, drop it :/
I like to always see who are the guys in the Top5 damage... Are they online? Do they represent a threat??
When the Top1 is just a random chicken with no strength or is offline I just drop the bombs, and stay alert for other guys.. When I drop BEFORE the end, I usually add some hits, so that I can spot the others hitting before dropping the bombs, or after, which results in an important heads-up. If I do the nasty thing that (doesn't make me proud) of dropping in the last seconds, well... I just get the gold :/
