This article may seem quite fanciful and magical upon reading the headline,
but I assure you that is far from reality. AusEaid is a volunteer aid organisation
and was sadly a target of terrorism and burglary last night. Gold, cash and
food were stolen with the estimated damage been around $300.00
The two theives left a ransom note but we are unable to release any information contained within the note due to several legal reasons.
http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1603955>St3v3thepirate, who is apparently Arkdons brother, and his accomplice, http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1726572>hobbdenator were both unavailable for comment earlier today, but St3v3thepirate decided to make an appearance in the IRC later on, showing just how foolish he is. Authorities caught up the the dynamic duo after leaving a ransom note that was unable to be read by anyone, as they had changed the password, and after St3v3thepirate decided to donate some of the gold back more out of stupidity than any remorseful feelings he may or may not have had.
The sad part is that the organisation had only weeks earler helped them out.
After fleecing the accounts the pair fled to ePakistan leaving ausEaid out of
pocket and two newly immigrated ePakistanis very wealthy.

This was a very sad event. ausEaid has done nothing but help the citizens of this country. I deplore anyone that takes such a selfless idea and attempts to take it over for their own ends.
Thankfully, the perpetrator returned the org, and minus some minor fleecing returned it to the rightful owner. This was a major win for decency and eAus.

I don't care if they returned it, the fact that they took it in the first place speaks volumes of their dishonesty and indecency.
Especially an org like ausEaid. The amount of effort that goes into their work is amazing.

Oh, what a disappointment. I was hoping that the Admins would be making plans now to start a fantasy version of eRepublik. This would seem like a good time to start planning a new world for The New World, with new nations, and a new balance of power. And then there could be Goblins, Elves, and Dwarves. Although, establishing what RL language these races speak might get a little insulting. For instance, the Hungarians might not like it if Magyar gets set as the language for Goblins.
That's pretty low to target an org who's sole purpose is to help people.
