Petz Inc Shuts Down 4 Companies

Due to the complete failure of admins to implement a productivity/consumption scheme that works in V2, Petz Inc has decided to shut down 4 companies including all 3 of its housing companies until the admins fix the economic module. As many owners have notice, right now thousands of pieces of raw material are being consumed with hardly any products being produced...especially in the housing industry. We have sent multiple tickets to the admins and await there response to fix the poor formulas they have used to calculate item production. We apologize to our former employees especially those long term serving ones but this action was necessary to ensure a strong corporation. We will return to action once V2 has been fixed. Our other companies remain in action.

just worked, trained, and studied today. Anyone else not have their health/happiness drop? I still have 100/99 after doing stuff for 15 hours.
That's a shame, I worked for a company owned by Petx Inc when I fisrt started V1, Alot of companies are having similar problems and until the Economical module is fixed, alot of companies are either going to be shut down or lay of alot of workers
It appears it was a graphical problem and went away when I logged out and back in, so be careful it doesn't happen to you folks.
Same thing in the tank industry. It's supposed to be 150 units of Iron for a Q3 tank. I've already used 998 raw, and I only have 73% of a tank done. I should have had more than 6 made by now. What a bloody rip off!
Quite frankly, its a freakin' disaster. Same thing in just about all industries. Take a look in Construction. With the exception of ANC Houses, the Ministry is the only organization offering any jobs what-so-ever. ANC will fill up and then the MoI will be the only employer in the Construction Industry (if we can continue to afford raw materials). At least we can continue to provide jobs beyond efficient level; but unfortunately they will be for minimum wage. We have hired Skill 10 Architects for $0.10 per hour. One told me he was lucky to find a job!
This means that the MoI is basically the only purchaser of stone in Canada. Stone prices are rising in every country; but this will not last long as there is about to be zero construction industry anywhere. (And houses are not being sold, either; because workers are getting 0.10 per hour.)
Food industry no better. Weapons industry, 10x worse. Companies can't afford the 30-100 times raw materials they needed before. And even though prices for raw appear to be low, in reality, manufacturing firms are paying ten times as much in total. They are closing their doors. And companies that do will not be buying any more raw materials.
Harvesters take note. You may be getting paid very well right now. But as more and more manufacturing and construction firms close their doors, raw materials are not going to be purchased either. Enjoy your salaries while you can.

Well, frankly I'm quite happy these problems were discovered now. By making all resources disappear, there may be an increased demand for raw materials but there will be no one to buy them if all manufacturers go belly up.
No doubt this grave error will be fixed in the beta before they launch the new module in V2.

Kippers, carpenters may one day be worth something, unless people start to realize that "leasing" a 200 CAD house is not worth it compared to buying some better quality food and relaxing longer. Shhh, don't talk about that though.
ya just fired all my employees (sorry) but 90grain to make 1 food item is killing me.

I own a Q2 air unit company
Facts : 1 air unit = 100 titanium.
I need a Tech, engineer. a fitter and a Mecanic to make 4 piece to make 1 unit
so 100/4 = 25 pieces of raw materials need to be used by each job.
at day 1, I was able to calculate that 250 productivity was draining 25 raw material which made either 1 frame, 1 missile, 1 ammo or 1 engine... Ratio of 1prod. for 0.1raw
Day 3, now the draining is clear to me... 1 production is now 1 raw material... ratio 1 for 1.
Material cost went 10 times higher..
BUT in the raw material.. its still states that 1 unit = 100 raw
But as a matter of fact it is 1 unit for 1000 raw material..
so yeah i had to close the company and wait till I sell my current air units at the real cost i made them.. if not i lose 600cad...
My employes are currently crying because they were getting pretty well payed since I thought I was making 10 cad a profit per unit.

Ditto. Just had to sack everyone, I've been hemorrhaging money since V2 - and the one product I have made isnt selling. Whatever happened to keep it simple?
i was workin for Maison Magnifique de Montreal, it was a good job and in the company there were less than 20 employees, but I lost my work and now I'm in a horrible one.
So I wish you re-appear, for you and for me.
They really need to adjust the modifier for houses. For Q1 food, it takes 0,3 Production Points per Customization Points and it has 30 CP. For Q1 houses, it takes 25 PP per CP and it has 40 CP. Some of those CP have to go into durability too. So a Q1 house would need to last 112 days with 10 CP in durability just to break even with Q1 food.
This makes houses impossible to purchase. That modifier needs to go down from 25 to 10 and the housing industry could be viable again.
