If you still want to be a PEACE member tomorrow, attack the US NOW. Every other PEACE country is making a huge coordinated effort now, if you don't do anything, no one, I repeat, no one will help you when the Spanish attack you
These are the words fellow PEACE members used, in the past few days, for french citizens. And especially for me, the french president.
Why ?
eFrance didn't attack eUSA during Manitoba and Nunavut battles. Some hungarian reprsentatives had asked me on IRC to do so ; I had asnwered that I would, if it was a part of a larger plan (like multiple diversions, next steps depending on battles results...). I only received answers like "do it, it will help us". Moreover, noone outside eHungary, especially PEACEgc Supreme Commanders, made the same query (many people shared my opinion about the unusefulness of this attack).
Second, two days ago, eHungary and eSerbia said on IRC they wanted to attack eCroatia ; I asked for a detailed plan, they wrote it, and I said I found it interesting and that I would submit it to the french congress. I asked who, outside eHungary and eSerbia was informed and received no answer.
Yesterday, the plan had changed without notice : no more swapping to help eItaly to reach eCroatia, no more attack on ePoland... and no eFrance in the list of attackers. I asked if everyone still agreed (especially our SGs and SCs) and discovered they didn't - some of them were even unaware of the project hours after the start of the DoW in eSlovenia.
You can't win a war with so little preparation and discussion. Two countries can't decide for 30 others. I want to avenge eItaly after the croatian TO but starting hopeless battles that will only weakens PEACEgc isn't the best way to do so.
This single case shows everything that's going wrong in our alliance. A small number of big, powerful, greedy, wealthy nations tries to enforce their agressive policy to the whole alliance, through private meetings and opaque decisions. They say : "PEACEgc changed, you have to deal with it", but our alliance hasn't changed, they are enforcing us to do it.
The PEACEgc members' populations, and even most of the congressmen, are unaware of most of these talks. I fear that half of PEACE presidents are unable to explain why some countries are currently attacking, but do they even know who are our SGs and SCs ?
Since this summer, some people have tried to improve PEACEgc's organisation and communication, but they keep facing the same difficulties, the same indifference, not to say hostility to anything that would improve equality between members. Just as an exemple, PEACE began working on PEACEKeepers army before EDEN thought about EMC ; nowadays, EMC is strong and well funded, PEACEKeepers are weak and unefficient. Same thing with the Media Mogul Program : PEACEgc started it, made one sucessful "wave" then gave up, while EDEN keeps using it.
With the population and strength of eFrance, I could very well have played the same game and forced decisions to my country's advantage. But I have ethics, I love PEACE, I believe in our alliance's philosophy and I don't want to give up my ideas - the same ideas as the french population and many "little" PEACE countries.

Ce sont les mots que certains types de PEACEgc ont utilisés ces derniers jours pour les citoyens français. Et plus particulièrement à mon sujet, en tant que présidente d'eFrance.
Pourquoi ?
L'eFrance n'a pas attaqué les eUSA pendant les batailles de Manitoba et de Nunavut. Quelques représentants hongrois m'avaient demandé de le faire sur IRC ; j'ai répondu que je le ferai, si cela faisait partie d'un plus large plan (avec des diversions multiples, les étapes futures selon le résultat de chaque bataille...). Je n'ai alors reçu que des réponses du type "fais-le, cela nous aidera". De plus, personne n'a évoqué cette requête en dehors de l'eHongrie, notamment les Supremes Commanders de PEACEgc (beaucoup partageaient d'ailleurs mon opinion à propos de l'inutilité d'une telle attaque).
Puis, il y a deux jours, l'eHongrie et l'eSerbie ont parlé d'attaquer l'eCroatie ; j'ai demandé les détails du plan, ils l'ont donc écrit et je leur ai répondu que je le trouvais intéressant et que je soumettrais notre participation à notre congrès. J'ai demandé qui, en-dehors de l'eHongrie et de l'eSerbie, était informé de ce plan, et qui avait déjà donné son accord. Mais je n'ai obtenu aucune réponse.
Hier, le plan avait changé, sans avertissement : plus de swap pour aider l'eItaly à atteindre l'eCroatie, plus d'attaque sur l'ePologne... et l'eFrance n'était pas dans la liste des attaquants. J'ai donc demandé si tous les autres avaient déjà donné leur accord (particulièrement les SGs et SCs de PEACEgc) et j'ai découvert qu'ils n'avaient pas approuvé ce plan - certains d'entre eux n'étant même pas au courant du projet plusieurs heures après le début de sa mise en place (déclaration de guerre par l'eSlovénie).
Il n'est pas possible de gagner une guerre avec si peu de préparation et de discussion. Deux pays ne peuvent pas décider pour 30 autres. Je souhaite moi aussi venger l'eItaly du TO croate, mais lancer des attaques sans espoir qui ne feront qu'affaiblir PEACEgc n'est pas du tout le meilleur moyen de le faire.
Cet unique exemple montre ce qui ne va pas dans notre alliance. Un petit nombre de "gros" pays, puissants, ambitieux et fortunés essaient d'imposer leur politique militaire agressive à l'ensemble de l'alliance, au travers de débats privés et de décisions opaques. Ils disent : "PEACEgc a changé, vous devez faire avec", mais l'alliance n'a pas changé, ils essaient de nous y contraindre.
La population des pays de PEACEgc, et même la majeure partie des congressistes, ne sont pas du tout tenus informés de ce genre de discussions. Je crains même que la moitié des présidents de PEACEgc ne soient totalement incapables d'expliquer pourquoi certains pays de PEACEgc, leurs alliés, sont actuellement en train d'attaquer, mais savent-il au moins qui sont nos SCs et nos SGs ?
Depuis cet été, quelques personnes ont essayé d'améliorer l'organisation et la communication au sein de PEACEgc. Mais ils se heurtent toujours aux mêmes difficultés, à la même indifférence, pour ne pas dire à de l'hostilité à tout ce qui pourrait améliorer l'égalité entre les membres. En guise d'exemple, PEACEgc a commencé à travailler sur les PEACEKeepers, son armée d'élite mobile, avant qu'EDEN ne songe même à l'EMC ; aujourd'hui, l'EMC est forte et bien financée, les PEACEKeepers sont faibles et particulièrement inefficaces. Idem avec le Media Mogul Programm. PEACEgc l'a démarré, a accompli avec succès une première "vague" puis a laissé tomber l'affaire, tandis qu'EDEN continue de se servir de ce concept.
Avec la population et la force de l'eFrance, j'aurais parfaitement pu jouer le même jeu et forcer moi aussi la prise de certaines décision à l'avantage de mon pays. Mais j'ai des principes, une certaine éthique, j'aime PEACEgc, je crois en elle et en sa philosophie et je ne veux pas laisser tomber mes idées - ces mêmes idées que je partage avec la population française et beaucoup de "petits" pays.

Oufffff. Ca fait du bien de le dire. Si la situation est vraiment celle décrite dans cet article, il est plus que temps de les envoyer se faire voir et de se recentrer sur nos vrais amis.

le problème de PEACEgc ça reste comme même le vecteur linguitisque, on a trop de gros pays avec des langue très éloigné. Ce qui amène à ce type de conflit à mon sens.
Si on avait 2-3 gros pays avec des langues complètement différente ça irai: mais là avec d'un coté russe/serbe, +iranien+indonésien et enfin hongrois, on va avoir des problèmes pour organisé un projet d'action efficcace!
Il faudrait peut etre, mettre en place une présidence tournante par pays pour arrivé à un équilibre!

je ne soutient pas le fait que nous devrions les aidée car on aurais plus de soutient en cas d'attaque, des "amis" qui nous menace pour avoir notre soutient je leurs dit merde.
Quite a ce que le pays disparaisse je préfére que ça soit dans la dignité de nos propres valeurs.
Si PEACE venait a disparaitre, pensez vous réellement que ça soit une chose si dramatique ? cela aurais pour mérite de remodeler le monde et la eFrance pourrais peut être ensuite être dans une alliance d'amis et non d'alliées de circonstances....

je soutient ce coup de gueule comme celui de Matt au mois d'aout, Peace se désagrège chaque jour qui passe.
Maintenant faire sortir ce qui ne va pas ne suffit pas, il faudra un jour agir, le temps de tenter de sauver Peace et de s'accrocher à ses restes est révolus. Il est temps de réviser qui sont nos amis et nos ennemis et de fonder une alliance qui est un sens.

Lyne, I suffered the same when Portugal decided to retreat from north america and sign a NAP with USA.
Even a former Secretary General told me that "PEACE should kick Portugal, PEACE doesn't need Portugal yet Portugal needs PEACE".
And what I can say is simple: People that say it are a small minority, just don't listen to them, cuz in the end they won't prevail.

They reale don't care about you, France. PEACE is just using you. You do not have equal rights with Hungary or Indonesenia, even Serbia. You are good only to fight for them, when they need you. After that, you get nothing, just a huge indiferrence.

Anyway, I personaly understand your decision, and your oppinion, especialy about the lack of preparations, but I am just an ordinary fighter from Hungary.

A titre personnel (ça n'engage que moi) on ne me reprendra plus à vouloir aider la Hongrie. La semaine dernière, prenant note de leur appel de soutien pour défendre l'Alaska j'ai dépensé mes économie pour aller m'y battre...
Là on a pris une pillé monumentale et pourquoi? Parce que la Hongrie avait décidé en interne d'abandonner la région, abandonnant à leur sort les citoyens de PEACE qui comme moi s'étaient engagé à leur côté et qui se sont retrouvés abandonné à eux mêmes en territoire ennemi...
