A true nail biting finish all the way to the final minute but in the end, as the smoke clears, KIA Sneak has limped away with a very narrow margin of the votes, just pushing Dishmcds off the top spot. The final results for the Presidential elections left The Unity Party PP Alain Bates in third place.

In the congress elections the PCP also won out with 116 votes to UKRP's 107. The much-hyped Unity Revolution failed to emerge with TUP receiving just 58 votes, leaving the Belgians and the Lithuanians to carry the rest of the congressional vote.

Now normal life can resume in eRepublik and the communists have some hard work to put in this term to prove their narrow victory was worthy, the naysayers and slanderers won't give up easily.

I think that the 6 seats that TUP have achieved is a reasonable effort. considering they had just 3 in the last election

I fail to see how this can be considered a Communist victory in a democratic country? They failed to secure a majority and are outnumbered by their most vocal opponents: Reform and Unity.
