PCP – A New Beginning

Day 327, 00:51 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Stan Wephen

As I looked on the Party Election results, I was filled with a mixture of feelings: joy (at winning no less!), pride, at being elected to the head of such a great party, but most strongly, awe and humility. Awe, because when the members of the PCP come together, they speak as one powerful voice. No other political party in the October Party Elections has been given such a strong mandate to its leader. Humility, because it made me realise one thing – it was not I that held the power in the PCP. The true power lies in the people of the PCP.

What is the future of the PCP?

This month will be dedicated to the 3 Cs – Communication, Constitution and Campaign.

Communication - I believe in a new era of inner-party communication. I plan to release a weekly report on events happening in the PCP, such as discussed policies, recent appointments of positions in the PCP, and of organised events. I also wish to implement an advance on the buddy scheme, where each senior PCP member will be given a group of 10 PCP members whom they must personal message at least once a week with what's happening within the PCP.

Constitution – As I pledged in my last manifesto, I wish to finish the PCP Constitution to firmly assert what we believe in. We realise, of course, the need for flexibility in the ever-changing world of ePolitics – however, there should be at the same time beliefs that must not change – guiding principles that define who we are as a party.

Campaign – I believe that without doubt widdows9000 should be the next President of the eUK. As a politician, he is intelligent, innovative and passionate. As a person he is honest, friendly and open. As a friend he is trustworthy, reliable and dedicated. Dedicated to the PCP. Dedicated to the eUK. And most of all, dedicated to our future. It is my honest opinion that the eUK lost out when widdows9000 was not elected as the President. That's why I will tirelessly campaign for his election on the 25th of this month..

Once again PCP, thank you. Let's make the eUK better, together.
