Join the new world

We have entered an era of peace. The era has started because the admins have [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/article-604172.html]closed[/a] the wars in beta. Since that point and with the realization that war will not occur, there should be a general shift within eRepublik.

On the economic front, the domains that most clearly benefit from war—namely, moving tickets and weapons—should clearly see a growing surplus of stock. With that, there should be an eventual reduction in prices. Citizens should take advantage of the lower prices and stockpile for the arrival of V1. As far as the national government, I advocate the [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/article-605802.html]ELRP[/a] program because it is important that eAmerican companies become globalized and start to export more prominently. Though I favor the introduction of more low-tariff trade agreements, I believe that the eUS should maintain a holding pattern until V1.

On the political front, the country needs more money. More money means that the government can maintain the improved military, fund national programs, and support local initiatives. However, the President and Congress (including myself) need to prove prudent in issuing money. Additionally, with the arrival of V1, more wars will come. While many eAmericans may be giddy at the prospect, the eUS needs to recognize the gigantic shifts in global politics should there be more state consolidation. If the eUS is to emerge as the pre-eminent power in eRepublik, some aid to smaller countries or rebel factions may be necessary.

On the military front, the country needs YOU—to train. This is an opportunity to improve your strength without worrying about battles yet. If you haven’t joined the military, it is important and beneficial that you do.
