Yes, I decided to have another run for President and do it properly this time!

I shall be outlining in more detail the aims over the next couple of days but I wanted to take this first opportunity to introduce myself and the main priority for government.

I'm sure most of you know me by now. Although I originally started playing eRepublik some seven years ago, I never got involved in Politics. However, apart from a 2 year break soon after the introduction of the bizarre hexagons of Rising Battlefield I have been playing pretty much ever since. Having returned to the game I spent most of the time up until the summer of 2014 in effective 2 click mode.

I began to take a more active role in the eUK from the summer of 2014 and since then I have 13 (including current) terms in Congress and have been involved in several governments over the last 18 months or so. I would consider myself one of the eUK's most active citizens at present both politically and militarily.

Our main priority for the month ahead will be Foreign Affairs. For too long now the eUK has been on the defensive, forever looking over our shoulder wondering when and where our enemies will strike. At present it the Russians who are the latest in a line of Pacifica members (USA, Sweden previous) who have taken the opportunity to invade a weakened UK, though as I write liberation appears imminent - a big thank you is due to all involved and particularly Spain who have been one of our staunchest allies for many months.

We now need to build on the progress we have made and strengthen our relationship with our current allies and seek to add new ones. This will help both ourselves in fighting off attacks and give us the opportunity to go on the offensive to help them. If we can achieve this we can face the eWorld from a position of strength where our enemies will think twice before invading.

Let us seek to attain a position where we go to war at a time of our choosing, where we attack from a position of strength instead of defending from a position of weakness.

Our old Nemesis Argentina is currently waging war through our neighbour France. This is a golden opportunity to strengthen further our ties with France.
