Party President of the Australian Independent Party

Day 1,410, 18:08 Published in Australia Netherlands by lancer450

Fellow Independent Australians,

Say goodbye to September, and hello to October!

Well, as to not waste any more of your precious lives, here it is!

Who is this guy?

My name is lancer450. I’m a former three time Senator of Queensland, a Deputy Speaker of the eAustralian Senate, former Minister and Deputy Minister of Information, and Captain of the 2nd Regiment in Food. Fight.

What does he want?
As you know, Party President elections are fifteen days from now (I know this is extremely early, but whatever 😛) on 15 October 2011. I come to ask for the support from my fellow Independents.

I plan on following the Australian Independent Charter as it was originally intended, but for those who are not active on the forums I wish to accommodate you as well.

What will he do?
I plan on acting more like an administrator rather than a typical party president. Selection of the candidates for Prime Minister and Senate is where this idea comes into play.

Prior to the Senate elections I will set a topic on the forums calling for Senate Nominations, and in what states. I will also send out a message to all members in-game simultaneously, as not to leave anybody out.

Members simply need to post/reply that they are running and in what state. However, if there are too many candidates in one state, I arrogate the right to request a candidate move to another state.

Likewise, with the election of the Prime Minister, I plan on having members of the party reach a consensus on whom to support. I will do this just like I plan to do with the Senate. I will mass message party members to provide accommodation to those not on the forums and I will post a poll for those who are.

Conclusion
My goal as Party President is to continue to stand for those who wish to self-campaign and run as an Independent Senator without party affiliation or influence. I plan to govern according to the Charter.

Please vote for me, lancer450, on October 15th for Australian Independent Party President.
