Party Presidency Version 2.0

Seeing as that I am running unopposed for our party's presidency, I debated whether or not to publish an article declaring my run. For the most part, doing so would be silly. Still, there are a couple of things that I believe need to be mentioned so that all Technocrats know what will be going down in the next month and beyond.
I feel like I accomplished everything I set out to do when I became Technocrat Prime. I published quite a few articles promoting the party. I was able to attract enough members to place us as the tenth largest party in the eUS. I created our commune, Hive 1, which seems to be humming along just fine so far. The forums were expanded and forum usage has increased.
I have failed miserably in one area though. I believe many members are very happy being a part of the Technocratic Party and will not leave any time soon. However, the percentage of our party that is active and taking up tasks to better the party is very low. I thought expanding the forums, directly contacting technos, and creating amusing propaganda would spur more involvement but it did not. So, in sum, lots of happiness and loyalty, little participation or involvement.
Because of this, my main goal of this coming party presidency is to find a successor who is able to put in the time and effort our party needs to continue moving forward. I will look for someone competent and creative willing to take on the throne. I will not run for the role of Technocrat Prime in June.

Don't feel bad about it. People generally prefer being satisfied with less over feeling motivated and inspired enough to aim for more, and no successor can change that.
You just try to pick out the rare gems and ensure the rest is happy.
Oh I don't feel bad about it. The lack of pictures and a possibly happier tone is due to me being VERY tired at the moment. I don't want to be PP during the summer because I will be taking a large exam that will require about three months of studying 10 to 12 hours a day.
Despite lack of wholesome involvement by everybody in the party, I think you've done a good job! Slow and steady wins the race!

Well, although you didn't find a lot of active people, and from what I've heard and seen, you've helped it out a ton. So good on you, you've definitely helped establish a solid base. Now it's up to everyone else to build on it.
Shiny has seriously done an awesome job with this party. I hope we can find more people like him not just in our party, but all around the game.
