Party Presidency Elections - TOs

Day 543, 02:10 Published in Germany United Kingdom by Elisa Vorimberg

It is my sad duty, to inform you that after over 8 hours of hard stressful work coordinating our defense against the TO (take-over) of the Buergerliche Union political party, we have failed.

It came down to a tie, 37-37, but ekszer had more experience points, so (s)he won the tie.
I realize that my candidacy in the party stole votes from Juran, but quite honestly there was no way to predict this. After learning about it I made every effort to give my remaining votes to Juran, but some people ignored it.

During the voting, many PEACE GC members joined, voted, and quit the party. Since I think accountability is good thing, I jotted down their names and then went back and figured out all their nationalities. I am not blaming the governments of these countries, but I think it is important to know where the voters are coming from.

apad_lehetnek - Indonesian
Hollofernyiges - Hungarian
DangerBoBalazs - Indonesian
Small Bob - Indonesian
Haugesund - Indonesian (apparently a member of an organization called the Indo-Hungarians' Alliance)
Cirbolya - In Indonesia, likely from Hungary
kexpilota - Indonesian
Szabimaci - Hungarian
ekszer - Person that TOd the party
Nyasgem - Hungarian
Gyula bacsi - Indonesian (possible ties to the Indo-Hungarians' Alliance)
Jozef Wysocki - Hungarian

Also, 2 other parties had dramatic changes in leadership.
The Militaerische Expansionspartei was taken over by mRvHunter, who appears to have been acting completely on his own.

The Reformed Federal Democrats also switched back to pre-reformation party president Justin Tyme, it appears that there might have been some outside influence based on a suspicious surge of new members.
