Party Politics: I've Had Enough

Starting today, I will no longer be involved in any parties in any way.

I am resigning my position as APF Elections Member and resigning from the APF Board. If the APF survives the day, Syrup can take over my job (he is my right-hand man, after all).

I hate to do this to you, to all of my friends who have always supported me. I hate to leave you when you need any help you can get. But I'm worn out and burnt out. I have done and said too many things that I look back on and cringe. And I've been betrayed one too many times.

On a side note: the APF has been a disappointment to me. The USWP should have never died, even if there were only 3 people doing most of the work for the party. The USWP, its history and its pride, was something that we should have never had the power to destroy. It's too bad that I was too stressed to be able to fight people within my own party when they voted to destroy the USWP. But the past is the past.

I had a longer article here, but it was deleted because I was a bit careless about writing it here and it got lost when eRep automatically logged me off.

So here's the deal: I'll stay as Speaker of the House (unaffiliated with any party) until the end of my term on the 26th. I'll help out with any education projects that I can. But I'm turning my back on the partisan fighting. It's been too emotionally draining and too stressful at times when I should have been devoting my energy to RL schoolwork.

I want nothing to do with the antics, the bickering, and the bull****. Enough is enough.
