Y'know, I've bloody well had it.
No, I am remaining a senator. I am going to keep doing what I think is right for you, the people.
But this BULLSHIT has GOT TO STOP.
We are NOT a big nation. But, we can be a strong one.
But, I personally am forming the view that Party Politics is absolute crappola in our nation.
We fight. For nearly TWO YEARS now, I have seen people position themselves, run for one position or another, manoeuvre for position, say they want to represent our country, and then follow a party line.
PARTIES SUCK!
I'm sorry but I am only presenting my view here. But, I shall explain why.
Do you _REALLY_ think this Paul vs SC vs Larni crap is the way to go for a small nation, that is finding it's feet and trying to recover?
Do you _REALLY_ think that the *ELITES* as they are called (and, I will admit, I should be considered one - why? because anyone NOT NEW, who reads the absolute CRAP we publish day in day out - must think we are a pack of absolute in-people FREAKS with no time on their hands who find the shiny medals we get so DAMN IMPORTANT we just have to have one!) engender new player interest?
Time and time again, we come back to the same arguments. Poor eAus, we have a small pop of committed people. POOR eAus, we cannot stand up to eIndo (and, we should) we cannot be important enough to ATLANTIS, PEACE, EDEN, PHEONIX, SOL, PENIX, PANAM (just name your bloody alliance!!) to get shit done.
WE ARE IN A VICIOUS CYCLE.
While I don't necessarily agree with his approach, I agree with CH.
CHANGE IS NEEDED.
Enough is enough. We need to change our "Women's Weekly" ways. This absolutely HAS to be the last devisive article published. If you post from here, based on a reckless desire for POWER, you should be shot as a traitor to our nation.
Deal with your crap on forums, IRC, I do NOT CARE WHERE.
DO IT SOMEWHERE A NEW PLAYER DOES NOT SEE YOUR JADED PATHETIC-NESS.
Post meaningful articles. Make meaningful comment. BUT

i agree but as you can see certain members of a certain party have no intent of getting along. living in a country where political strife and substandard everything is fine by them. they have a large ego and simply cant see that working together is better than fighting and working apart
There needs to be a civil war module. That will sort your problems out 😛 😛

I agree. Unfortunately, there are too many people that play the game simply to fight with each other. As long as these people remain around, I don't see it ever changing.
On a side note - I was expecting pics of hot cheerleaders 🙁
But what of dissent? Should we not voice our opinions when we disagree with is going on, as long it doesn't involve personal attacks and character assassination? If we don't speak up then we are empowering their fail.
dissent and debate is fine. But articles that simply make us look like a bunch of hicks that cannot construct a decent argument to save ourselves do not do much to encourage a new player.
